On the other hand, Younghoon was trying his best not to gawk at the cringe interactions between the couple. I'll kill myself if I do the same to my future girlfriend. He nodded to himself after swearing himself not to do any cringe things in the future, then returned back to the couple with waffles wrapped inside packaging in his hand.
"Here you go." In a monotonous tone, he passed the waffles to Haknyeon who returned his delightful smile over the free food.
"Thanks!" He then shifted his eyes back to his girlfriend and ruffled her hair once again with his free hand. "See you tonight, little missy."
She frowned and slapped his arm away from her head. "Just go." She chinned to the door, embarrassed of her own boyfriend doing such gestures in front of her bestfriend.
He let out soft chuckles and bid goodbyes before taking his leave.
After seeing him walking out, she realized something was off. "Wait, he didn't even pay!"
"Now then you realized?" Younghoon flicked her forehead and she instantly rubbed with her fingers in soothing the pain with eyebrows furrowed.
"How much are you charging for takeout? I'll transfer you instead, I don't have any cash." She said instead of cursing at him for flicking her forehead.
He snorted a laugh. "You don't have to. It's on me."
"What?? Why????" She questioned in disbelief towards his friend's generosity,
"Cause I owe him." He simply answered that confused her even more. Seeing her facial expression made him sigh and eventually explained the reason behind his free waffles for Haknyeon. (chapter 7)
After hearing him out, she almost flipped the table not cause of the given tasks to get over her fears but at how much he is losing money.
He scoffed at her continuous nagging before clicking his tongue. "Sooner or later, you're the one taking over this cafe instead of the incompetent me."
She eyed the latter with her 'stop-fooling-around' face and lightly slapped his arm before leaving his side.
With his small smile, he shook his head before going back to work as well.

Time flew with bestfriends working their best to maintain the survival of their cafe, Haknyeon dropping by frequently as he juggled with his blogging before his semester break ends, and the couple going on dates when Hanyoung got her off day.
It was the last day before break ends and Haknyeon invited Hanyoung over to his place. Hyunjun was in the house and sort of third wheeling, but he could care less as all he did in the house was gaming during the break.
With the couple on a movie marathon in the living room and Hyunjun gaming in his room, the peace in the house broke when Haknyeon's mom made a surprise visit. In total chaos, Hanyoung was shoved to Hyunjun's room as that was the only safe place to hide while the boyz went out to greet Haknyeon's mom.
"Why did you bring so much?!" Haknyeon asked with a cautious smile and gave eye signals to Hyunjun.
Hyunjun swiftly returned to his room and caught Hanyoung staring outside of the window at the corner of the room. "Noona." He softly whispered and like a meerkat, she turned her head facing the owner of the voice. He then pointed at the back and she followed him out.
While Haknyeon managed to distract his mom in the kitchen, Hanyoung sneakily walked past the living room and even waved a little to her boyfriend who was looking out for her.
Why is she so cute for? Haknyeon suppressed his laugh as he was conversing with his mom and continued to make her stay in the kitchen until Hyunjun made his appearance with an 'ok' sign.
Haknyeon smacked his lips in relief then finally brought his mom to the living room.

"WHaT!????" Haknyeon shrieked upon receiving her playful texts. He briskly left his place to his neighbour's and pressed the doorbell.
The door opened revealing Younghoon but before he could even utter a single word, Haknyeon did it instead. "Hyung, where's Hanyoung?"
"In her room. What 's up?" Younghoon answered as he opened the door wider for Haknyeon to enter.
"She's teasing me." Haknyeon stepped in with his sulking face.
Younghoon laughed then pointed at Hanyoung's room. He closed the door behind and watched Haknyeon going inside Hanyoung's room after a few knocks on the door. Ah this lovebirds... He shook his head with a small smile then went to his room.
Meanwhile, Hanyoung was on her bed watching shows on her laptop and surprised to see her boyfriend in her room that her mouth was jaw dropping.
Haknyeon stomped over and went to cup her face, giving full massage on her face as a punishment. "We literally lived opposite and what, lazy!?? I'm going back to school tomorrow and you're here watching shows without me?!?"
"Okay okay, I surrender!" Her words muffled as she could not speak properly with the massage her boyfriend was giving.
He took back his hands with his pouty lips still. Seeing his reactions made her snickered.
"You dare to laugh!?" He nagged again and wanted to cup her face again but she was quick enough to put on her defense by holding his wrists.
"I mean, you're just too cute." She said in between her laughter.
"Cute???" Unfortunately for her, his strength was incomparable to her and so he cupped her face again but this time, he went for her lips.
Flustered at the unexpected kiss, her eyes widened with her arms awkwardly in the air.
After stealing her lips, Haknyeon smirked at his accomplishment. "Don't mess with me."
Hanyoung blinked her eyes then looked away after getting her senses back. "Can't you at least give me heads up or something instead of going straight with it..." She mumbled under her breath.
He shrugged with his playful smile then grabbed her wheeled chair and pulled over near her bed. "What were you watching? Let's watch together." He changed the topic.
She could not help but to smile and adjusted her laptop so that both of them could watch it together with one on the bed and another one on the chair.
