"Where am I?"

"W-".

"Sir! Patient 107 is doing amazing! Yo- uh oh"

"WHO ARE YOU?" I yelled.

"Where am I? What is this room? Who is patient 107? What is happening??"

"Okay Desi, calm down" Dad said reaching out to me.

I backed off.

"Let us explain".

I took a breath in and out and I let them explain what I hadn't been informed on.

"We created a serum hun. It does things that not any normal human being can do".

They took a breath in.

"We created a little something to give human beings powers. Extraordinary powers" explained dad.

"We created it before you and Y/N were born" explained mom.

"And we had given it to you both when you guys were very young-".

Before you know it, my parents voices had started to fade and I started to feel lightheaded. Everything was beginning to feel dizzy and I had passed out.

About 2 hours later I finally woke up and the lights we're very bright. I regained consciousness and remembered everything that had happened. I woke up instantly forgetting I had just passed out and I started to feel dizzy again.

"Hey hunny, drink this".

I grabbed the water from my dads hand and gulped everything in seconds.

"Woahhh okay you can slow down hunny, we don't want you to choke".

I took a deep breath in after inhaling everything and sat there in silence as my parents tried their hardest to not make eye contact.

After a couple of minutes I decided to finally speak up.

"What powers do Y/N and I have?".

Mom and dad looked at me and shrugged.

"We aren't so sure yet, we we're able to deactivate your powers right after you guys were born because we weren't sure the powers were to harm you or not and if they could protect you-"

"Wait so you don't even know if these powers could kill me or not and wait protect me from what?".

"Hunny, me and your dad haven't been the best people and we've made enemies along the way. We gave you guys powers to protect you when the time comes".

"Oh" I finally got out.

"Uhm can I see what powers you guys are talking about?"

"Yeah of course, we have test number 107 if you want to check her out".

"Sure" I half smiled.

I went into the room that they we're testing people in. I looked at her and noticed how insanely fast she was moving. I observed her every move and abilities. Having an increase in speed like hers causes her metabolism to speed up. Every half an hour run she did, she ended the run eating 5 hamburgers, 3 fries, and 2 cokes. Then repeated that routine for the next hour. I noticed how insanely proud my parents were to realize how they had accomplished something like this but it still scared me knowing my powers could kill me.

Back to the present

Y/N's POV

Desi finally finished and we all sat there in shock.

"Your telling me, all of this happened while I was upstairs taking a nap?".

Everyone laughed.

It was about midnight now after having the deep conversation with everyone and soon everyone decided to go their separate ways and go to bed. I still couldn't fall asleep obtaining everything that had just happened so I decided to sneak out of my room after everyone had fallen asleep. I walked down to the kitchen and noticed the lights were on. I slowly walked towards the kitchen preparing myself to fight if I needed to. When I turned the corner I sighed in relief noticing who it was.

"Lucas".

"Hey Y/N, can't sleep either?" He asked.

"No not really, you?".

"Same".

We talked for what seemed to feel like hours and I didn't notice how well we were hitting it off. Lucas was such a great person to talk to and I don't know if it was the tiredness talking or was he hot??? I snapped out of my trance when I heard someone grunted loudly and walked heavily away. Me and Lucas sat there for a second and realized it couldn't have been anyone else besides Alessio because of his heavy walking.

"I wonder what's his problem" Asked Lucas.

I shrugged.

"Well I think it's time we go to bed, it's getting pretty late" said Lucas.

I looked at my phone '2:15 am'

"Crap, yeah, we should sleep now. Well thanks for the talk Lucas. I really needed it" I said to Lucas quietly as we were walking up the stairs.

"Yeah no problem, talk to you tomorrow?".

"Yeah of course" I smiled and walked into my room closing it.

I finally got into bed and started to doze off.

SOOOO Lucas and Y/N now?? What?? And what was Alessio's problem?? Okay but can we talk about powers?? Jeez that was a lot.

I'm so sorry it took me a second to write a new chapter... but I'm back :) I hope you guys enjoy this chapter although it didn't have much exciting things in it. I promise the next couple chapters will get more intense :) I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!
