"Well I hope it goes well, I guess. . . You know, y/n is a really nice person. She supports my dreams of becoming an actor, heck she even helped me land a spot as host for the live show tomorrow! It's reality TV, but it's a start. This could be a chance to get my big break! Well I shouldn't distract you any longer. Get going."

"thanks, and good luck with tomorrow." I walked through the double doors. A classy ambience surrounded me with low light candles, jazzy music playing from somewhere.

I was expecting an area full of monsters in expensive clothing. Instead the place was empty and smaller. The side walls had a crystal like curtains dangling to the floor. The back wall was made of glass, an aquarium was on the opposite side. The hues of the room were a contrasting blue and orange.

In the middle of the room was the dining table. Two chairs waited. One was already occupied. There in the soft light I barely recognize y/n. She was looking at the opposite direction of the door. Seemingly lost in thought. Her fingers softly touched the edge of her glass cup. The drink inside was almost empty.

She wears an amazing outfit that surely cost a pretty penny. But did it look gorgeous on her. Her hairstyle perfectly complements the look.

Wow...

I'm so mesmerized that I don't wanna move from this spot. She hasn't noticed me yet so I could easily stand here and analyze every detail of her. I gripped the box in my pocket.

But better stuff awaits.

I went up to the table and took a seat across from her. Somehow she hasn't noticed that I'm here.

In an attempt of breaking her out of her daydreams. I softly kick her leg, underneath the table. Almost like a nudge.

Her dreamy eyes looked at me and she recomposed herself. A cheeky smile formed on her lips.

"So what's your excuse for today?"

"i'm sans. what more can you expect?" I wink at her.

"Let me guess, you overslept, so Papyrus tried to wake you up but it ultimately took him 30 more minutes than expected. You panicked and dressed up sloppily, so Papyrus helped you out. And you either forgot your gift or it's so small it fits in your pocket. Speaking of the gift, you have been very secretive these past days. What did you get me? Wait, let me give you your's first. I figure right now will be a better time because later the table will be full of food." She looks down beside her chair while she continues to ramble. I sat there a little lost.

"a little eager aren't we?"

"We are behind schedule so yes I am rushing things."

"you are not letting this go are you?"

"Nope!"

I sigh in defeat. "okay, okay we can exchange gifts first."

Her smile brightened. "I'll go first!" She slides a neatly wrapped box across the floor to my side. On top of box was a much smaller one?

"you got me two!?"

"They go together." She leans on the table waiting for my reaction. "Go on."

I pick the smaller one first and open it. I was expecting this one to be a prank but I was far from it. My eyes widen in shock as I held the eyepiece. She said this came together with the larger one...
