"I suggest you leave. I'm tired of this," he tells her and she bits her lip and walks out of his room.

Iwaizumi sighs as he walks to his bed and lays down.

"Checkmate," your father says which made Jia-Li groan as she hits her head on the table.

"I'm always the first one out," she complains.

"Check," your father says and you move your King.

"Gaan (Fuck)," you say in Mandarin [I used google translate so please forgive me if this isn't correct].

"Language," your mother warns.

"Sorry," you apologize as you think of your next move.

"Check," your father says which made Mark curse under his breath.

You and your siblings are playing chess against your father all at the same time. Neither you nor your sister have ever won against him except for your brother but he only won once and then never again. The only reason why he won was because your father was drunk, like very drunk.

When it came to chess, your father was just the best but the only person that can win against him is his older brother and who can win against your uncle is his father and so on. Between you and your sibling, Mark is the best player and then it's you and then Jia-Li.

"Checkmate," your father says which made you groan as you lost against him once again.

"Check," Mark says with a smile.

You and Jia-Li quickly go to Mark's side, "You can do it," you and Jia-Li say at the same time as you both cheer your brother on.

"Good move, I admit," your father says as he grabs his queen, "But you still have a long way to go," he says as he moves his queen.

"Or so you think," Mark says with a smirk, "You just gave me a free queen," Mark says as he capture your father's queen.

"My boy, you still have much to learn," your father says which confused all of you but that was until your father moved his rook, "Checkmate my boy," your father says with a smile.

"Arg!" you and Jia-Li both say at the same while your brother curses in every language he knows under his breath.

"I will get you some day!" Mark promises as he gets up and heads to his room while you and Jia-Li laugh.

"You girls should just give up, none of you can beat your father," your mother says while sitting on the couch while watching a movie.

"I may be the worst player our of them but at least I'm better at you," Jia-Li defends.

"Whenever you girls want a rematch, let me know. I'll be more than happy to beat the both of you," your father says with a chuckle as he heads to the kitchen to make something.

"But dad!" Jia-Li says with a complain as she follows him to the kitchen.

You giggle and then look at the couch your mother is sitting on, "Hey, ma?" you say as you walk to the couch and sit down next to her.

"Yes?" she says.

"There's something I need to tell you," you says.

"Yeah?" she says once again as she looks at you.

"I have a boyfriend," you tell her which widen her eyes.

"What--"

"And before you freak out, please let me just say that I love you. I have never giving you a reason for you not to trust me. Who I date or want to be with is my choice because it's who I want to be with, not you," you tell her which made your mother wonder if it's that guy she saw you with a few week ago, "I'm dating a guy named Toru Oikawa from my school. The pretty boy you told me to stay away from but he's not the person you think. You can't judge a person by how they look like," you tell her and your mother sighs.

"Alright,"  your mother says as she want to understand, "But if he does anything to hurt you, I will come over to that school and show him that no one messes with my baby," she says which made you giggle.

You hug your mother, "Thank you," you tell her and she hugs you back as she peck your forehead.

"And if he touches you, you tell me. I'll show him all the torture methods of the Chinese people but mostly, we'll cut his dick and force it into his mouth---"

"Ma!" you say while you laugh.

"What?" she says wondering if she said something she wasn't supposed to, "I'm just saying," she adds and you roll your eyes, "Now, let's continue watching the movie," she says you nod as you watch the movie with her, "Explain to me what happened," your mother says which made you laugh.

"Okay, so..." you say as you start to explain the movie.
