"you're so pretty." sapnap says warmly, giggling a little bit.

"n — no you are!" george leans across the table and boops sapnap on the nose.

"we both are." sapnap smiles.

"mhm!" george giggles.

george finishes his food and wipes his face with a napkin.

"did i get everything?" george asks.

"you missed a spot."

"where?"

sapnap grabs george's napkin and leans across the table, wiping it off.

"right there."

"sappy, you know I can do things myself."

"I know george."

"anyway, you ready to go?" sapnap asks.

"yeah!" george smiles.

"alrighty." sapnap grabs his raincoat and umbrella, george gets up from the table and waits by the door.

"lets go!" george happily opens the door.

sapnap walks outside the small home and opens his umbrella, george gets under it.

they walk down the cobblestone and mossy cobblestone path to the main paths of the smp. they decide to use the prime path to get to the nearby Taiga biome.

upon the path is dream and fundy, walking in the rain together, no raincoats or umbrellas.

for a second george feels a little bit of guilt. he wants to be fundy. he wants to be drenched as he walked with dream.

sapnap notices george's head is down and stops them both.

he takes his hand and cups george's face, getting down to his level.

"listen george. you don't need him anymore. i know it's hard letting go. at least try."

george nods, trying to force himself to believe the words.

they continue their walk and eventually turn off the path and walk into forest.

"you got a lead?" sapnap looks down at george.

george digs through his pocket and finds the green lead.

"mhm!"

"alright, good."

the two spend their time walking through the forest, after 15 minutes they come apon a small baby fox.

"move slowly and talk quietly." sapnap whispers.

"okay."

they slowly creep apon the fox, then taking some berries out of their pocket. the fox turns around and in one swift motion they put the lead on it.

george smiles. "yay!"

george picks up the small fox and cuddles it up near his face.

"he's so cute!"

"he is." sapnap says.

sapnap takes the compass out of his pocket and follows the direction home, george walking happily as the small fox trails with them.

they soon arrive back at the small cottage.

they walk inside and immediately walk to the laundry room, putting their drenched raincoats in the dryer.

george goes to his storage room and grabs some wool, then taking it to the crafting table and crafting it into carpet.

he finds a small corner and puts the carpet, then taking some fence and making it around there, and a crimson slab for a roof, and lastly putting a fence gate.

he picks up the small fox ands puts it in the house, standing back and admiring his work.

"good job." sapnap smiles.

"thank you sapnap."

"no problem."

george carefully pats the fox on the head, yet he feels different. he feels bad.

george gets up and goes to his room, opening the nightstand drawer and grabbing his notebook, then walking out and sitting on the couch next to sapnap.

"hi bubs." sapnap wraps his arm around george.

"hi sappy."

george begins to write.

he pauses at a word that he writes, staring at it, as if he was studying it, trying to figure out the key parts.

"enough."

he was tired. he was tired of everything of going on in his life. he wanted it to all end. he wanted it to all just be a nightmare and to wake up next to dream.

he was tired of not feeling enough.

his eyes became glassy as tears dropped onto the notebook page.

"george?"

george grips onto sapnap's arm as he felt himself falling, as if he was stepping into a deep hole.

sapnap moves george's body to face him and holds george close inwards to him.

"you're okay george. i'm here. you arn't alone."

george cries into sapnap's chest.

"bubs. i'm here. you're ok. i promise you are."

george picks up his head and looks into sapnap's eyes.

"am i enough?" george sighs.

"more then enough. way more." sapnap tightens the grip onto george's hand.

george stares deeply into sapnap's eyes.

after a moment he finally speaks.

"i needed that. thank you sapnap."

"no problem george."

sapnap holds george to his chest are carefully rocks him.

"i'm tired." george yawns.

"then fall asleep with me. i don't mind."

sapnap gets up and turns off all the lights and then laying down on his back.

george crawls onto sapnap's chest.

"good night bubs."

"goodnight sappy."

the two fade away into their slumber.
