(Newt x Reader) // (Minho x Reader)
What if you would find yourself in the Glade?
What if all of the sudden two boys are head over heels for you?
Everyone expected another boy to arrive with the box, but to their surprise they were greeted by a girl...
Newt also looked at you in shock, his lips slightly parted. He eyed you carefully and then his lips formed into a smile and he started to nod "Yeah, yeah I like that".

You also began to smile and Newt continued: "This... is something which really is motivating" and Newt started to slightly laugh, happily. You couldn't help but hug the boy, he understood you and now you were able to give him something back - hope. Newt first hesitated but then he slowly moved his arms behind your back and hugged you, careful not to hurt you or coming off too pushy.
The two of you kept seated at the stream for a while before you decided that it was time to go eat some breakfast, as it already was time for it to be served. Frypan gave Newt and you a plate of scrambled eggs, tomatoes and toast. After that both of you took a seat at the table where Minho, Hank and a guy called Leo with green eyes and light brown hair, he was tall and rather thin. Leo seemed kind and more on the calm and quiet side. After both Newt and you took your seats Minho was the first one to raise his voice.
"Where were you?" he simply asked and his gaze switched between you and Newt. You didn't want to tell the boys you've been crying. You would have told Minho and maybe Hank, but Leo was a stranger to you so you thought of something else "Newt has been sleepwalking and I tried to find him. Luckily he wandered not too far and woke up rather quickly after I found him." Newt turned his head to you and looked at your side in shock. Hank started to laugh and Minho raised an eyebrow "I didn't know you're a sleepwalker Newt"
"I didn't know either." Newt whispered, only able for you to hear. "Yeah, I don't know what has gotten into me" the boy chuckled and scratched his left upper arm. Minho looked at him with a confused look, but then turned his attention to you "Ready for your first day as a doctor Y/n? I hope you went to college, otherwise I'll try my best to better not get hurt ever again". You rolled your eyes "Well maybe then I'll leave you just to bleed", "You wouldn't do that, you're way too attached to me".
"Calm down Casanova" Hank said while patting Minhos back. "I'm just kidding" Minho stated in surrender "but anyway Angel, are you nervous?" At the word 'Angel' Newt looked up from his plate, "Uhm, yeah a lot to be honest" you confessed, "Don't be nervous Y/n, I'm sure you'll do a wonderful job" Hank said and gave you a thumb up. "And nobody will judge you if you do something wrong, we all were Greenies at some point so everybody knows that it's hard at first - but you'll do great" Leo assured you with a smile, he really seemed to be a kind person and so you smiled back.
After breakfast you said goodbye to Leo and Hank, as Leo needed to start his work as a Track-hoe and Hank wanted to help him. Newt and Minho on the other hand insisted on walking you to the Med-jack hut. "Okay, here we are" you said as you arrived at the hut, "You'll do amazing Y/n!" Newt said with a smile, "Will you be alright?" Minho asked, "Yeah, thanks to you two. I'll see you later, bye!" You waved and went into the hut. "Bye Y/n" both of them said in sync.
The hut was filled with a dim light which made its way through the gaps between the wood and sticks. Jeff and Clint were currently sorting bandages and herbs. "Hello" you said to draw their attention to you. "Oh hi, Y/n! Welcome to your first day as a Med-jack" Jeff greeted you with open arms, you responded with a nervous chuckle. "You'll be fine Y/n. There's no need to worry. We'll go through everything step by step and I'm sure you'll understand everything in no time" Clint said to you with a big smile. Both of them were so welcoming and it helped to put your mind to an ease. You felt more comfortable and the nervousness began to wash away.
