It took me back to the day Ron gave it to me, he promised we would get married and live the life we had always wanted. But yet again he disappointed me, seems there's no change there.

"Hello miss?" she squeaked as I snapped from my daydreaming, how does he get to go and live a new life and forget about me when i'm constantly plagued by his memory? What a dick.

"Oh sorry, nervous that's all" I laughed trying to cut the awkwardness that had found itself in between our conversation.

"No problem, would you like to follow me?" she said but before I was even able to mutter a response she had disappeared into the crowd of ministry workers.

I swiftly ran after her trying to spot the tousled locks that lay upon her head - however it was deemed a challenge due to her unbelievably small body.

As I finally wrestled my way out of the crowd and saw the scrawny woman standing besides the elevator, she was tapping her foot impatiently as she stared at the watch on her skinny wrist.

There wasn't much of her height wise and weight wise, she looked awfully frail I was frightened that she may have got crushed running through the swarm of people.

I practically ran up towards her, not wanting to already make a bad impression.

"Sorry I left you sometimes I forget not everyone knows there way around here" she giggled still awaiting the elevator to appear.

Just as I was about to reply a 'ding' ringed through the air and the elevator doors opened wide. I stepped onto the lift as the woman reached over for our floor '5' I must remember that.

"Y/n! Well I haven't seen you in a while" I heard a voice from beside me and turned my head rather shocked at the loud voice calling my name.

"Arthur well who would've thought" I laughed although cringing inside. It was unfortunate really, I used to have an extremely close bond with the Weasleys but after everything with Ron I guess it just fizzled out.

"How are you, we've missed you at our house it's not the same without the kids running about anymore. They've all got their own life it seems" he laughed, though I could see a tinge of sadness behind his facade.

I don't blame him, the Weasley family were probably the closet family I had ever met. They would never be apart from one another, but as he said everyone had grown up and they had their own lives now.

"I'm great, i'm actually applying for a job here," I smiled as he nodded eagerly "and i'm sorry to hear that Arthur I know how you feel" I nodded remorsefully.

'Ding' there it was again.

"Follow me Miss" the lady said as she stepped from the elevator.

"Well bye Arthur it was nice seeing you, hopefully i'll see more of you" I laughed as I followed the woman and stepped out of the lift.

As I began walking down the dark corridor I heard someone call after me.

"Y/n why don't you join us for dinner tonight? Everyone is coming over for a big piece of news and i'm sure everyone would love to see you" he grinned.

"That would be lovely Arthur thank you" I nodded as I tried to keep up.

"6:30!" he shouted just before climbing back into the lift and shooting off to his office.

After walking for a while the woman in front of me stopped as I looked up to the grand doors in front of me. In big bold letters across the wall "Head Curse Breaker".

"Well here we are Miss, good luck" she nodded before strolling off in the other direction.

I took a deep breath in before knocking lightly on the door, this was the start of a new life.
