Yandere!Ruby x Reader

"Where are you going?" Profily says, trying their hardest to stay awake

You didn't want to worry them, they've already been through enough. You remembered how you had to save them from almost being ripped limb from limb, since then they've been really quiet.

"Just taking a walk" You say, hoping that it will calm their nerves

"Just come back soon,ok?"

You smiled

"Of course"

The moment you were out of sight, you picked up a branch hoping that it would do some damage to Lollipop if you thought what was happening actually was.

You looked around the woods for 15 minutes and still no sign of Ruby or Lollipop, you started to get worried and Firey Jr. started to wake up from all the movement, so in desperation you started to run all over the place, trying to find them, that's when you saw a hint of purple ducking around a tree, you followed until you saw a red gem, slumped up against a tree. Without thinking you ran towards her but before you could even dodge or anything, you were hit but not hard enough to be knocked out it was just painful. You turned around, putting Firey Jr. down, looking at your attacker. Lollipop looked at you, you could see the anger on her face and the light from Firey Jr's glow only made it more menacing but you wouldn't back down.

So you hit her on the head with the branch, almost breaking it and taking a piece of Lollipop with it. She hissed in pain and held her head in her hands but wouldn't back down so easily, she swung her bat at you and got a clean hit on your side causing you to fall to the ground and take a swing at her legs with the branch, she fell to the ground. You slowly got up and raised your branch above your head and brought it down onto Lollipop's head, smashing the branch and her head in two.

"Finally" You mumble

You turned around and saw that both Ruby and Firey Jr. were looking at you, You had a lot of explaining to do.

This was the 2nd time you had to save Ruby from an infected and it certainly won't be the last but for some reason Ruby WANTED to be kidnapped again and the thought of you saving her again made her happy.

"I can explain" O/n says

"There's no need! You saved me...again" Ruby says, smiling

"Why was I brought into this?!" Firey Jr. says

"Light....but hey! I bet that we're closer to Tpot now!" You say, trying to change the subject

So you,Ruby, and Firey Jr. headed back to your group and saw the rest of the group asleep. It was almost morning so you just decided to sit against a tree and just rest,plus there was no way you could go back to sleep after that.

Ruby couldn't help but stare at you,you were suddenly amazing,brave,beautiful at least to her. There weren't enough words to describe you, you were like a guardian to her. She wanted you to protect her, she needed to be protected but you decided to protect everyone else and her, you were her guardian not anyone else's.

You guys were walking towards Tpot but this time Ruby smiling and clinging onto you like you two were long lost buddies, of course you were getting worried thanks to how sudden this thing was.

Three days

Three whole days, you guys were starting to lose hope,was Tpot even this way? I mean you've seen and killed, a lot of contestants that had crushes in Tpot,Such as Gelatin,Loser,and Ballony. You had to be going the right way! Now let's talk about Ruby, she's been purposely putting herself in harms way 24/7 meaning you had to save her 24/7 it annoyed you to the point where you were so close to just stop saving her and not to mention that you lost David,Dora,and Spongey through this entire thing.
