Giant Brain Crabs and Ghosts

A body, and legs of a crab? Or a body of a squid, with a crab head.

Reaper let out a roar, not only probably scaring it away, but also having it located. Since he uses echolocation, anything that hears it, he sees it.

Not to menrion, having a bit of Ryleys help, but I also had a water proof raidar  that also showed me where other creatures I couldn't see are. So this device installed in the saddle was quite important down here in the dark.

Reaper turning his head to where the creature was, the installed spot lights on his mandibles revealed the creature.

And it was decently large. Especially its see through, squid shaped head. And that answered my question of what it looled like. Crab body, squid head, but having four eyes where its head connects with its body.

"How dangerous are they?" I asked.

"Well, no too much. Just keep your distance, and they cant pick at you. But, the annoying thing about them..." He said, going off. As the CrabSquid suddenly fired some green wave of energy, cutting out all the power on Reapers lights, and radar, and the whole Sub.

"The thing uses EMP waves." Ryley said, as a moment later the sub, and Reaper had power again.

"Oh, I see that is annoying. At least your dont need power Reaper. Get that giant brained crab!" I said, as Reaper gladly charged at the now fleeing crab with a vicious roar, as the crab was eventually Reapers lunch.

"That will make them think twice before EMP-ing ya Ry." I said, with a smirk.

"Yeah, what would I do without out, and your war leviathan." Ryley said sarcasticly, as I heard slow clapping in the back ground.

"Probably be eaten by some other leviathan, or creature."

"Fair point. Now, I think I know where we have to go. I was down here before, and I saw this... Light, green brine. I think that leads us to where we have to go. But, I also did find... Something worth finding here too." He said, as he piloted the sub, and Reaper followed.

"Just a question, Ry. Why do we have to come down here. I don't see a reason why we have to come down here. Besides getting more rare, and precious materials." I said, he has been getting... Suspicious lately. Very suspicious, he's hiding something. Its like as if, someone's, or somethings telling him to go down, and deeper.

"Well... Its complicated, and... You wouldn't believe me." He said, which kinda hurts me a little that he doesn't trust me.

"Ryley. Dude. We worked together for a long time. And you think I won't believe for what you have to say?"

"Y/n. I just don't want you to freak out. But trust me. If we go down deeper, to where lava flows, it will be so worth it, for everything. For this very, entire planet, for us." He said seriously, and calm.

He has been worrying me lately. A lot. Every since he started about going down deeper. And apparently, from what I gathered, he must have gone out a night, and came here, and to other deeper zones behind my back, most likely when I was probably asleep.

I knew something was wrong. And it wasn't just me feeling rather... Off too.

I wish I could talk to Reaper, and get answers from him. But its not like he is ever going to talk... But... I have an idea for later if we ever get back up top.
