Chapter 31.5- Saint Sheele

Lord: And do you swear to lay down your life for the God Emperor if need be?

Sheele: I do.....

The Lord then closed the book in his hand and stepped away. He motioned for Sheele to step forward, and she did. Galatea then signaled a group of serfs, who were once saved by Sheele when she was killing danger beasts. The came up to her and began to place the pieces of armor on her body.

Galatea: Recite the oaths you took

Sheele: I swear to uphold the honor of the God Emperor

Sheele then stepped into the sabatons the serfs laid out for her. They fastened them onto her feet as she continued speaking.

Sheele: I swear to bring death to the impure, the witch, and the heretic

The serfs placed the greaves and poleyns of the armor on her calfs and knees. They then began placing the cuisses on her thighs.

Sheele: I swear to protect the faithful servants of the God Emperor

Once the cuisses were on, the serfs placed groin guard onto Sheele. After it was on, they slipped the gauntlets onto Sheele's hands. The serfs placed the vambraces on her forearms as Sheele took a deep breath.

Sheele: I swear to lead my sisters to glory in his name

The serfs fastened the couters onto her elbows. They then placed the chest plate onto her torso before installing the pauldrons onto her shoulders. Sheele then took a deep breath before reciting her final oath.

Sheele: And I swear to lay down my life for the God Emperor if need be.....

One of the serfs, a young girl, then came up to Sheele. She then placed the final piece of her armor around her neck. With the gorget attached to the armor, it was now complete. The Lord then looked to Sheele before taking a deep breath of his own.

Lord: Are you ready for the test of your faith?

Sheele: I am ready Ecclesiarch

Lord: Then drink from the chalice.....

On an altar only a few feet away from them, was an iron chalice. Within said chalice, was an extremely potent poison extracted from a danger beast. Sheele stepped up and took the chalice in hand. She then drank from it with no hesitation at all.

She then placed the chalice back onto the altar. As she felt the poison through her body, her heart stopped. As her body slowly fell to the floor, Sheele's eyes slowly closed. One thought was on her mind now, it was one person. The one who changed her life completely.

Sheele (thoughts): Alexander.....

Once her body hit the floor, every sister there prayed for her. The serfs and the Ecclesiarch even prayed, but there was only silence afterwards. Her body remained lifeless as sorrow filled the atmosphere.....

But then her body shot up into the air as a bright flash emitted from it. Everyone shielded their eyes as angelic wings formed onto Sheele's back. A holy hue was now around her as the light died down. Everyone rejoiced at the sight of the Living Saint Sheele.

The serfs then revealed a sword that they were hiding. The same young girl who had placed the final piece of Sheele's armor took it up to her. Sheele took off her glasses and casted them aside as she took the sword. She looked at it and noticed something familiar on the grip. On said grip was the small face of a panda, the same one from her teigu.

Lord: God Emperor Alexander split your teigu in two. You now have the most reminiscent part of what the weapon once was

Sheele: It can still cut through near anything and use its trump card, yes?

Lord: Yes, so can the other part Saint Sheele

Sheele: Good, then there's no problem

Galatea: Saint Sheele, I'm sure you can imbue your divine powers into your weapon as well. But before that, we must rally ourselves

Sheele: Indeed, we must recruit more sisters into our fold and train. I can hear our Emperor now, those are his orders

Galatea: It shall be done

Sheele: I will also need the best sisters we have Galatea. I must head to the capital

Galatea: Of course holy saint, but if I may ask..... why?

Sheele: I have been given a vision, a troubling one. Our Emperor is in danger.....
