Chapter 8

Sinclair kissed your head and pried himself out of your arms. He went over to the shelf which had many VHS tapes, pulling out the blues brothers he put it in and got back onto the bed, under you again.

"Have you watched the blues brothers?" he asked.

"I have" you said.

"Then we can laugh together" he said, pulling you onto his lap and placing a kiss on the side of your neck.

"Oh, and I have something to say" he said.

You turned around and raised your eyebrows.

"It's weird and if you don't like it then that's fine" he said.

"What is it?" you asked.

"I am asexual" he said "I am not sexually attracted to anyone"

"Oh?" you asked.

"I love spending time with you, and I think I love you romantically, but not sexually" he paused. "Is that okay, I mean if it isn't we can just still be friends right? if you now don't want a relationship with me for not wanting sex" he said, letting go of your waist.

"Yeah" you said. "I am happy with your asexuality"

"Perfect" Sinclair said, grinning from ear to ear. "Are you sure, it led to some tension between me and Natile, I never told her and I wished I did, led me to force myself to do it" he frowned and ran his fingers through his hair.

"Yeah of course I am happy with it" you said grinning. "You are the most lovely man I have ever met, of course I would want to stay in a relationship with you and I don't want you to try to be something you are not." you grinned up at him "are okay with kisses and hugs?" you asked.

"I am indeed" he said. "Infact, he peaked your head. I love giving them"

You gave him a hug and kissed his lips gently. "I am glad you told me" you said, stroking his cheek.

"Well it's good to get the cards on the table" he said. "Seeing as we are now romantically involved"

You grinned and Sinclair kissed your cheek. "Now you are the one who needs to role and press play" he said. You rolled your eyes and crawled to the TV to press play and rolled back into Sinclair's arms.

"I love you" you said.

"I love you too (y/n)" he said, pulling you closer into him and you both settling for the second movie.

Throughout it you and Sinclair laughed together, ate more snacks and drank more cider. You watched as the blues brothers fought Nazis and cowboys to complete their mission from God.

By the time the movie was finished, it was late and the sun was setting. You yawned and took another crisp in your mouth, looking up at Sinclair who watched you with a slight smile. "It's late" he said.

"I can go if you want."

"No" Sinclair said quickly. "No, you can stay here if you are happy too"

"I am happy too" you said.

Sinclair hopped out of bed and moved the crisps and drinks off, shook the blanket and put it back.

"Do you want me in a guestroom or?" you asked.

"Or?" Sinclair asked. "Or you can sleep with me here"

"If I can" you said

"Well I don't know if you can" he said. "I am offering it"

"Then I can" you said.

"You can" he said, "Do you want your can?" he asked, waving it in front of you.

You laughed. "Thank you, as long as you are not cantankerous in the mornings"

"I am very canny in the mornings actually" he said. "Maybe tomorrow I can take you on a canal," he said. "I know a great picnic spot on a small island on the river, we can bring wine, food and a decanter"

"That sounds wonderful" you said grinning.

"Ahh you didn't say can" he said. "I win"

"What do you win?" you asked.

"The last slice of cake" he said, and picked up a slice, eating it quickly.

You shook your head and followed him to the bathroom. "You got spare toothpaste?" you asked.

"I do" he said, bringing out an unopened toothbrush.

You took it and brushed your teeth with him and went back into the bedroom, slipping under the covers and getting comfy. You felt Sinclair join you and he pulled you into him.

"Does this beat your most relaxing day?" he asked in your ear.

"By miles" you said.

"I am glad" he said, and kissed your head. "This has been a lovely day for me too. I am so glad I have found a person I share so much with"

You turned around to face him and grinned. "I am too" you said. "I thought I could never move on, yet here I am, in bed with the most beautiful man I have ever met."

"I was thinking the exact thing" he said. "But you aren't a man" he laughed. "I mean there's nothing wrong with that but-"

You put your finger on his lips to shush him and he kissed your finger gently. "I do go on" he said.

"Nothing wrong with it" you said.

"Then you can keep me right" he said and stroked your cheek.

"If you do also" you answered

"Deal" he said and he shook your hand. You grinned and nuzzled into his chest. "Night" he said.

"Night" you answered and together you fell asleep.
