Groundhog Day

"Uh what about me?" Flowey asked.

"You my friend have a very important job. And that is to go and stand in a corner."

"What that's not fair!"

"Hmm your right. Stand in a corner and stair at the ceiling light. Does that sound more fair?" I upgrade.

"If it weren't for my quick thinking, you wouldn't even have this opportunity. Let me help you get the venom. We will finish quicker together." Flowey suggests.

He does got a point, but I know I can get it in time. "Sorry, not big on team -ups."

"Oh so you're the "I work alone" type of guy. Well suite yourself. You can come up me when you do need help, and then I'll say I told you so." Flowey huffs.

"Like that will ever happen. Frisk, reload."

"On it!"

My vision goes black. It comes back and I hear voices. "Quick let's get her inside!" I hear Alphys say.

I am standing a few steps away from the house. Papyrus runs in. I notice the person he carries in his arms. Y/n, she's alive.

Reload: Attempt one

I stand there for a bit. Then Frisk pulls my arm. "Sans c'mon we don't have much time to waste!"

I bring myself back and walk forward. I need to make sure she's okay. "Sans you need to teleport now!" Frisk adds.

"I know, I know but I need to see something first." I walk into the house. I expected to see the image of her lifeless hand hanging off the couch but she was there on the couch. Flowey was on the armrest. Her eyes look at me. Her mouth moved but no words came out. I was about to walk up to see what she wanted to say but Flowey motions for me to go.

I nod and I am back in the last corridor. I don't waste any time and throw my first attack. Ophiuchus too surprised gets hit a lot more times then before. He grins. "Well aren't you eager. Good that means I don't need to start easy."

Wait does that mean he wasn't trying before? His mouth opens and the venom drips from his fangs. "How about the same move I used on the girl hmm?"

"You dirty bastard what did you even want with her!"

He doesn't answer and immediately attacks the venom morphed to sharp spikes and shot at me. I avoid his incoming tail. I teleport behind him. He looks around confused as to where I went. I summon a blaster and with the snap of my fingers it shoots at him.

Strangely a bunch of smoke covers the area and I can't see anything. When it clears, he's gone.

No not gone. Hidden. A puddle of the venom is in the middle. I stay on gaurd and walk to it. I would teleport but I think that is what he expects me to do. I hear noises from all sides and I try my best to be facing the sound rather then be looking away from it.

I make it to the puddle, when he suddenly jumps out. Ophiuchus wraps around me into a tight hold. I teleport out of it and catch my breath. C'mon I need to be quicker! Who cares if I get hit, just get it and go!

I throw myself back into battle. Another array of sharp bullets fly at me. Wait they're venom. Can't I just-?

I pull out the vial open it and have it face one of the bullets. It lands inside and I close it. Can't believe that worked.
