Asha Mitchell is all about her education and the next box to check off her list of goals. She never allows anyone to steer her from her path or take her eyes off the prize. She's a big time lover who also knows how to choose herself or play the game...
"Big Ruben." he smiled. "How you doing this morning ol' man?"
"Probably the same as you...tired. I know you're about to start your workout but you comin' by the house tonight?" keys jingled in the background, letting him know his dad was leaving for work.
"I planned on it. What're we making?" he put a forkful of the eggs in his mouth. "I've lowkey been wanting beef stew."
"Then that's what we making. I probably won't leave the garage until 7 tonight so when you're done with everything you're doing stop by and take out the meat if I don't text you that I did on my lunch."
"Alright. Have a good day ol' man."
"You too, son. Love you."
"Love you too. I'll see you later."
Sanchez hung up then finished up his breakfast before he walked out to the indoor football field. The coaches and half the team were already on the field to prepare for their team stretch and run.

Sanchez bubbled in the last answer of his mid-term and didn't take the time to double check his answers. He never liked to doubt his test answers because when he did his first choice was usually the correct one. He did, however, check to see whether he skipped any bubbles on accident. That was the worse mistake he could ever have made and didn't catch. Once he knew that every row had one shaded bubble and no rows were skipped, he stood and turned his test in. The professor held onto it without pulling it from his hand.
"You went back and double checked everything, Sanchez? I don't need you coming back in like two minutes saying that you forgot something." she half joked. He'd done it before on quizzes.
"Yes, I did. It's all good." he tucked his pencil behind his ear.
"Are you positive?"
"A hundred percent." he nodded.
"Alright." she placed it in the pile. "I should have them graded by Friday at the latest. See you on Thursday."
He gave her a single nod and walked out of the class, giving her the deuces. Principles of Investments was his last class of the day and because it was bye week, he was done for the day. He loved mid-term week because that was the week athletes didn't have a game so their days weren't as long. Normally, he'd be getting ready for an extra lift and film study but the morning lift was cut short and film study took its place. Now he had an extra hour of leisure time on his hands.
Last year, he couldn't say that because practice was held in the afternoon. The early morning change worked in his favor. He had to be up at 5am but done with majority of his football obligations by 11am then returned for extra lift and film from 4pm to 5:30pm. Freshmen and some sophomores weren't as lucky because they had to put in long study hall hours. One thing people didn't seem to grasp about athletes was that their time was very valuable. It seemed like they didn't do much but their obligations were time consuming and they still needed to rest in between time.
