"What happened? Where am I?" I asked. He frowned.

"You're in my basement." He said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Um uh well we saw your bike and then we saw you so we brought you here." He explained.

"Why didn't you take me to the hospital like any other person? And who the hell is we?" I asked, frustratingly.

"Because you would have died!" A strong masculine voice echoed. A tall, muscular dark figure appeared out of no where. His voice scared me, but I had questions that needed to be answered.

"How did bringing me here stop me from dying?" I asked, nervously.

"So I could turn you and save your life!" He said, coldly.

"Turn me?" I asked. The figure stepped into the light so I could see his features. He had jet black hair, bluish green eyes, tan skin, and was nicely built. He looked to be 18 or maybe 19, obviously Sean's older brother.

"Before I tell you, just know we did it, because you're young, plus you have your sister and little brother to take care of!" He said in a more caring tone. I wondered how he knew I had a sister and brother, but I figured Sean told him, so I nodded in reply.

Before he could explain anything the sharp pain in my head from before hit again but this time it was 100 times worse. I gripped my head and screamed.

"Ryder! I think we're out of time!" Sean said, nervously.

"Time to chain him up!" Ryder said. Those words triggered a sense of fury and rage in me. I suddenly felt stronger along with my senses. I could hear and smell every little thing. I could feel my teeth changing and parts of my face contorting. I groaned but it sounded more like an animalistic growl. My k9s grew into fangs and my face stopped contorting. I looked down at my hands to see claws. My vision suddenly changed and everything had a red glow to it but it was crystal clear. I slowly looked to my left at Sean and Ryder and for some odd reason, I growled at them. They each grabbed one of my arms and pulled me off the table. I snapped at them, but Sean was the only one phased by it. They shoved me forcing me to sit on the floor, and began chaining me to the wall.

"Let me go!" I growled, my voice no longer sounded human. Once they finished they stood up and stepped back. I struggled as I tried to escape the restraint they had me in. Every part of me screamed in agony while they just stood back and watched.

"What did you do to me?" I asked, loudly. Ryder stepped closer and knelt in front of me.

"You're a werewolf now and I'm your alpha! You will do as I say!" He said. His eyes flashed red then back to their normal color.

"I don't believe you! Now let me out of here!" I shouted. Ryder rolled his eyes and grabbed a small broken mirror and put it in front of my face. I saw an animal like creature with fangs, pointy ears, hair grown out of the jaw line, face contorted, and glowing, yes glowing, blue eyes. I didn't want to believe it was me so I looked up at Ryder and growled.

"Is it really that bad Kasey? You can hear, see, and smell things better than you could before! Move faster than humanly possible! The bite is a gift!" Ryder said.

"I don't want it!" I growled.

"Trust me! You will!" He growled before turning and exiting the room. I breathed heavily as the pain continued. Sean knelt in front of me.

"Hey! You need to find an anchor!" He said. I glanced up at him confused.

"What do you mean? What's that?" I breathed.

"It's someone who can bring you back to being human. Someone that has the ability to calm you." He explained.

"How- How do I- I do it?" I stuttered.

"Do you have someone that if you get angry, they can calm you down?" He asked. I tried to think, but it was hard.

"My- my sister!" I said.

"Ok good! Use things she's said to you before to relax you!" He said. I remembered back to when I almost got into a fight with a well known bully from school, and Keira helped calm me down so I wouldn't fight him, but it didn't work.

"It's not working!" I said. I looked up to see Sean standing with his back to me.

"Ryder don't! I'm trying to help him!" Sean growled. It was silent for a few seconds before Sean stepped aside. Ryder stepped forward with some sort of rod in his hands. I growled at him, unsure of what he was up to. He then jabbed the rod into my stomach which I then realized that it was electrified and I roared. Once he pulled it away I felt myself going back to normal. I leaned my back against the wall to catch my breath.

"I didn't do that because I wanted to! I did it because his mate is the only one who could be his anchor!" Ryder said.

"But it's not like that for us!" Sean said. Ryder gave him an are you serious look.

"We were born this way. He was bitten." Ryder explained. He left the room and Sean knelt in front of me again.

"You okay?" He asked. I nodded.

"Why did your brother turn me into a monster?" I asked. He looked at me seriously.

"Kasey, you're not a monster! You're a werewolf, like me." He said and his eyes began glowing a silvery white and I just stared into his eyes.

"We aren't monsters nor are we killers!"
