"Why are you doing this?" He asked. He threw another flurry of attacks...that all purposefully missed her.
"We can live together happily." More attacks missed her.
"You will be safe down here." More missed attacks. Asgore let out a sigh, his paws falling to his sides, the fire extinguished. "You are not going to listen to my pleas, are you, my child...?"
Y/n shook her head in response. "I see. Then, for you..." The light returned and the girl noticed the occasional vine slithering up the deep purple stone walls. "I will stop being selfish. All of my fear... loneliness...pride...and regret... I will toss them aside, for you."
Asgore limped slightly as he walked over to Y/n, his hand holding his arm. She had...hurt him...
"You have shown me you are very strong," He whispered, pulling the girl into a bear hug. Y/n could feel tears threatening to spill as she hugged him back. She would miss Asgore.
"So, I will let you go and see the rest of the Underground. Follow the corridor to the end, and do not come back." Asgore let go and walked to the doorway that led back to the house.
"Thank you," Y/n said, turning and walking towards the massive doorway outside. "Thank you... for everything, Asgore." She pushed open the doors and slowly walked through them, not looking back for more than a few seconds.
"You are welcome..." Asgore said, the girl now out of ear shot. "Stay safe, my child...And don't come back to these Ruins, please..."

The final door opened to reveal a winter wonderland. Tall pine trees lined a straight dirt path that seemed to go on forever. The girl took a step forward, the snow crunching underneath her step. She smiled. She loved the snow and hadn't seen it in a very long time.
She glanced to her left and saw a...camera in the bushes? Strange. She ignored it and walked on.
The snow crunched under her boots as she wandered from the dirt path to the snow, snooping behind the tall pines. She loved everything about this massive forest.
She wandered a little way into the woods and saw a small patch of pine needles. She walked up to it and a yellow flower sprang out, making her jump back in surprise. "Howdy friend!" Flowey said, smiling bigger than ever. "How'd your battle with Asgore go?"
"How did you know we...battled?" Y/n asked, thoroughly creeped out by his knowledge.
"I know almost everything about you," Flowey replied matter-of-factly. "What you're doing, where you're going, etc, etc. So, how'd it go?" He waited expectantly, and Y/n crouched down in the snow before answering.
"It went...well, I suppose," she said, fiddling with the hem of her sweater. It had been one of the only things Asgore had that fit her properly. "I would've preferred we didn't fight at all though. And he did say to never come back, not like I'm going to listen to that though."
"It sounds like you don't like to listen to people's instructions," Flowey said mildly. "I mean, that's just my observation at least." Y/n shrugged in response and stood up.
"Yeah, I guess. But I think I should go now. Nice talk Flowey," she said, turning to walk away. She stopped abruptly and turned back around to face him, pointing an accusatory finger at the flower. "Oh! I just remembered something! Why did you attack me?! And don't even think about avoiding the question like a politician!"
Flowey seemed surprised by the question, then his face changed into something...different, like he had an idea of sorts. "I only wanted to show you a little something, I suppose," he replied slowly. "And I wanted to help you."
