"You will not bring Belos into this." Eda shot back sharply, her words cutting straight through Lilith, killing off any sense she had in her. "I will not allow that man to be apart of anything within this family, do you understand?" Eda was not having it and it was very apparent. After all, this was her house and with this being her house, it was her rules. There was no getting passed that. Lilith genuinely didn't want to resort to Belos as an option but her brain is just so short willed right now that she doesn't know what to properly think. All she knows is that she wants to make things right for a problem she unintentionally caused. "He's unwanted here."

"Y-Yes, sister, I understand. Sorry for being so quick to find solutions, I-I... I don't know what I was thinking." Ashamed, Lilith let out a deep sigh and pinched the bridge of her nose trying to collect whatever she could for her mental because right now it was just shattered. She knew that Alador would become a problem but she had never expected it to be so soon and let alone have her sister's life and family threatened; it was unacceptable.

"Maybe..." Lilith said, breaking the silence after moving her hand. "Maybe I should be the one to d-do it. It is my problem, after all." After her remark, the room had been filled with silence as if the two were paying respects to someone who had passed. The simple sound of the wind started and the light brush of leaves crumpling soon filled their ears as the sun shone brighter than ever through the kitchen window. Eda then turned around to look at her older sister.

"... What?"

"I'm saying that I should do this on m-my own, Edalyn. I became this figure for Amity and decided to feel the need to take her under my own wing. I..." Lilith stopped herself, not wanting to finish the next few words she would have to say, really. "I-I never should have done something so... so foolish. What in the world was I even thinking?" Small tears had started to prickle out, glossing her minty green eyes. "I should have never done something so foolish... to declare a child that isn't even so close to me to be mine! All because of their parental figure... I couldn't just send Amity back home...!" The waterworks had finally broke as the stored tears finally made their way down Lilith's face, her composure doing its best not to let up so much. "It would have been horrible for her.. to go back tk such a horrible atmosphere to people who hardly c-cared and-"

With a solid smack on the table, Lilith had cut herself off as she looked at her sister who was now standing up with her hands on the table.

"Listen to me, Lily." Eda started, not even looking toward her sister but rather the table, trying to keep her composure as well. It was always a thing where Edalyn would cry when her sister did but she never knew why. Guess she would just get really emotional as well at the thought of someone she loves dearly upset.

"None of this is your fault, alright? Sure, you may have taken the kid from her home which sounds bad as is but it was all due to good reasoning. You had a legitimate reason to strip her from her current household as it was only tearing the kid down." Eda mentioned, knowing the situation all too well. She remembered back to the day Alador had tried attacking the kids in Amity's own room. What a horrible man, she thought.

"You are her mentor, after all; her predecessor. Don't get so worked up over some guy like him. Now our main goal here is to try and figure out how to shake him off of our tail in a nonchalant way, alright? Let's make that our main goal for right now rather than self-guilt and self-inflicted grief." Eda finished triumphantly, holding her arms out and open for her sister who's eyes were only getting more and more red the second the more the tears fell. Of course, Lilith accepted the hug in high spirits

"Thank you, Edalyn. I.. I guess I really needed that reassurance. I just can't stop thinking I was in the wrong entirely."

"Of course, Lily. That's what I'm here for, y'know. Now come on, let's think this out more thoroughly on what to do about Alador. He's making moves and frankly, we don't have a lot of time. The more we stall, the more we blow our shot at anything."
