"C'mon human, I know you're hiding like a dirty little coward," he called. She trembled, shaking at his words. I don't want to do this. I don't want to be here. I want to go back to Snowdin. I want to see my friends. I want to see Papyrus and Sans. I don't, I can't I just don't want to be here...!
Before Y/n could react, she heard a swishing sound next to her and saw a vine whipping in her direction. The vine sped faster than she could move to. She felt it hit her gut hard, the thorn directly piercing her middle.
Everything went black. The only color she could see was a s/c (soul/color) glow in the distance and a cracking sound.
File Loaded.
She saw the vine coming again. What? Didn't I just-?
Black, crack, laughter.
File Loaded.
What is going on?!
Black, crack, laughter.
File Loaded.
"OH COME ON HUMAN!" Flowey shouted from the distance. "You can do better than that! Or are you really just that PATHETIC?"
Y/n heard the swishing again and saw the vine coming at full speed. She ducked and it missed her head by a few inches. She sighed in relief and sat on the ground to calm down. Her ragged breathing slowed and steadied, slowly she became aware of her situation. She stood up and darted to another tree, looking for an opening. There!
She saw one of his vines coiled aloof, he seemingly forgot about it. She ran as fast as her bruised and aching legs would carry her to his back vine. She reached out to slash it with her knife. Suddenly something pulled at her shirt collar, throwing her against yet another nearby wall. She coughed and spluttered, more blood filling her mouth.
"Do you think I'm stupid or something?" Flowey taunted, wrapping his briers around her beaten body, holding her to the ground. "Humans are stronger than that! C'mon, show me what you've got. I know you can do better, friend!"
The girl shook her head. "F-Flowey, please, l-let me go...!" Y/n pleaded, struggling under his grip. Flowey laughed and tightened the bonds. "I can't m-move I c-can't fight...!"
She felt her body being pulled in opposite directions. She panicked, writhing her body trying to break free, only causing the thorns to dig in deeper into her flesh. She let out a strangled scream at the pain. "Fight. Back." The girl shook her head at his command, trying to muffle her screams of agony. Flowey scoffed, and pulled her body further, snapping it in two.
Black, crack, laughter.
File Loaded.
"Come on! You can do it, friend! I believe you're stronger than this! Get loose! Free yourself!" Y/n readjusted to her surroundings and struggled more. It did absolutely nothing for her.
Black. Crack. Laughter.
File Loaded.
"This is your last chance, friend." She struggled more, trying to use the knife in her hand to cut her way out. She scratched him. Barely. "Cute. I thought this would be more fun..."
Crack. Black. Whispers.
File Loaded.
Y/n whimpered as she adjusted to her surroundings and position. She was prepared for Flowey to rip her body apart again. But it didn't come. She unclenched her eyes and saw his briers turn to vines as they glowed a light green. She tried to say something, anything, but all that came out of her mouth was dry air.
Flowey shrank back to his little self, the vines slinking into the cracked ground again. The girl shifted and sat up, still shaking violently. She hugged herself, realizing nothing ached. Nothing. She looked around her exposed skin and saw no previous cuts or bruises. They had all healed. Even her clothes had been washed of blood and dirt.
"You lasted a lot longer than I expected!" Flowey cheered. The girl flinched at the sound of his voice. How is he so happy? He literally killed me...!
"Y-ye-eah," she replied shakily.
"No seriously, you did really well! And it was so nice of you to let me have some fun to," he continued. "...Or were you really that worn out?"
"Oh, I don't know m-maybe it had something to d-do with the fact you KILLED ME," she snapped. Flowey let out a sigh at her sharp words.
"Sorry about that friend. I'll try not to let it happen again," he said calmly. "But I do think you need to get stronger. Oh! I have an idea! How about we make a little training regimen for you? Our lessons would surely make you stronger and tougher so you can easily take out anyone who gets in ou-your way!"
He looked so happy. Y/n nodded slowly. "Y-yeah. Sure."
"Are you ok?"
"Yes."
"Are you sure?"
"...Yes."
"Are you agreeing with me so I'll let you go?" Y/n winced. He was right.
"Y-yes?"
"It's ok!" he reassured. "Why don't you go on back home? It's gotta be close to dawn by now." The girl got up slowly, stumbling a bit. She walked surprisingly easily to the way out of the clearing. She stopped when Flowey's voice rang out once again.
"I healed you completely, in case you wanted to know. And also," she turned around to see him smiling wider than ever. "Don't tell anyone about our little practices ok? It's a secret! And if you do... Well, I'll kill you and anyone else who knows. Got it?"
Y/n nodded, then walked down the hill, running as fast as she could to the inn.
Your LOVE increased.
***
As she walked to the inn, some names clicked in her head. Wait... didn't Asgore mention Frisk? And his son... Asriel...died...Wait. Hold up. If Frisk was Asriel's best friend- Asriel died- is Asriel....
Are Asriel and Flowey the same person?
***
For anyone who is a bit confused: In Undertale, LOVE is different from Love. LOVE is an acronym for level of violence.
I hope the chapter was ok, I'm not great at writing action scenes... even if I thought this one turned out ok. Thanks so much for reading and don't forget to leave a vote if you like it =)
