Now to the story

||ERIC THIRD POV||

If Eric had to pick he would of course pick little Elizabeth for his favorite a 100% but if he had to pick from all of his siblings of the one he has the closest relationship he would pick his older sister Maddie. "hey, bitches. Guess who it is?" Matthew growled through the quiet living room— Tommy staring at him unimpressed, Leo half asleep and the two younger girls watching some animal documentary of birds.

"Matthew..?" Tommy was the only one to answer, Not even Eric gave an eye to his brother. Matthew had to be the highly likely person in the family to make the most money, his baseball skills were incomparable— Like a mini Leo he was always smiley and made every day bright, And Maddie would have to be compared in the same role as Tommy. They didn't have the same personalities though.

Maddie was more of a depressing, Antisocial twin. While Matthew kept his mother's black hair Maddie started dyeing it all different types of colors by junior year in high school, They both shared their fathers' green eyes. Eric liked Maddie for a lot of reasons, she was confident, She didn't give a fuck who stared, and she was bisexual.

Now you are probably asking a lot of questions— why hasn't Eric come out if their family is supportive? Does she know about Eric? And such, It was hard for Maddie to come out but once Eric father got it through his head that she could still be with a man then he didn't mind— Eric father was a goofy and bright man but Eric knew his father wouldn't like the idea of his second-oldest son playing with men.

Plus men liked lesbian sex. Ah, and Maddie didn't know Eric liked men— it still didn't help she teased him every time they saw one another about why he doesn't have a girlfriend. "Your dick is going to fall off if you don't get away," Maddie jumped from the back of the couch, almost sitting on top of Eric. Maddie made a small breaking sound effect from her mouth, her freshly blue hair back into a ponytail.

"And the moisture in your p-"

"Language!" Eric mother shouted walking into the crowded living room, she glared at both Maddie and Eric before giving a welcoming smile to Matthew— Matthew large build hovered over his mother, he whooped her into his arms and held her off the ground for a few seconds before putting her right back down.

After that talk with Callum, Eric was to business staring a The newfound number in his phone named 'Callum' that the week passed by before he realizes— It wasn't like anything happened during those days, the same chaos at breakfast— the same classes, the same conversations at lunch and the same after school practice. It was all the same so why did Eric feel so left out?

The fact that going to sleep meant he was closer to tomorrow scared him, And not going to sleep meant he would have to see that day slowly disappeared into a new day— There was nothing to fear since it would be the same old, so why did Eric stress about so much? It didn't help he was paranoid where ever he went, wondering why it felt like thousands of eyes stared at him in class, questioning if they knew through their laughs and giggles.

"I'm so happy my babies are going to be here for the weekend, wait aren't you leaving Eric?" Everyone looked over at him— "aww.. didn't father finally get off work?" Elizabeth pouted, sitting next to Eric (and raven) she hugged his arm with puppy dog eyes.

Eric shrugged, feeling uncomfortable. Eric learned quickly the negative feelings he felt really had no reason to be felt, There was nothing uncomfortable about his family— nobody knew of him being gay or that he slept with a guy or that he was slowly eating away from the inside so there was no reason to have the uneasiness in the pit of his stomach.

After everyone started doing their stuff, Mathew and Eric started talking in Eric's room. The older twins' room was being used by the other kids so they didn't have room to sleep in— Matthew would be staying in Eric's room and Maddie would either sleep on the couch or throw down a blanket in Eric's room as well.

"Your room is boring," Matthew chuckled— walking around the room to check out the white walls and basic setup. "You should ask mom for somethings to-"

"I couldn't do that." Eric interrupted, "We are still struggling with keeping the lights on. That would be selfish of me to ask for things pointless as dressing up my room."

Matthew smirked, He walked over to Eric, he was sitting on his bed— Matthew sat down next to him grabbing Eric's cheeks and pinched them. "Aww, my little brother has grown up so much, just the other day you were smoking smarties and hitting the top of door frames while jumping!" He cooed as Eric struggled from his grip.

"Oh shut up, Where is Alice?" Eric asked, rubbing his sensitive cheeks.

Alice was Matthew's girlfriend, Eric knew the girl because they begin dating at the end of the year of high school. "Just as pretty as I last saw her." Matthew winked.

"That's why you can't be picky my friend, no matter how high of standards she will always dominate."

"Or maybe you're just a Masochist." Eric chuckled.

Matthew playful glared at Eric before looking the teenager up and down— "have you gotten skinnier?" He asked making the mood shift in the arm. No matter how much Eric tried to be happy something always came back to haunt him right when he was trying to act like himself, Matthew was a good man but he notices things too easily which made Eric self-conscious most of the time when they were together. Matthew was the type of guy unable to read the mood but also a straightforward person.

"N-no. Football has been tiring lately though." That was a lie.

"That old Geezer is still rude as ever, huh? Just make sure not to starve yourself."

"Please you should see the number of plates I eat after practice, don't tell mom haha." That was a lie.

"Haha- if you need anything come and ask, I know I'm far because of college and barely get to see you all once a month but you're my little bro." Matthew hugged Eric giving him a cheerful smile through his shiny white smile, the smell of mint gum egged on through Eric's nose making him want to puke.

Eric gave his brother a small smile, "don't say that I will be asking you to get me everything." And of course, that was also a lie. Lies lies lies.

This chapter was mostly trying to explain things about Maddie and Matthew though I only really focus on Matthew... I kind of wanted to get their personalizes out there lol but I Stuck In making conversations and including other people.

I also hoped this showed how mentally unstable Eric was.

I'll probably focus on Jonny (the guy you will later hate lmao) and the beginning of the camping trip Btw.
