The Fault in Our Mango

Kimiko smiled sweetly. "So let's go!"

"Now?" the three girls said.

"I haven't eaten," Aika complained.

"Too bad. Your stomach can wait a few hours," Kimiko told her, then pointed at the door. "Out." She pushed them towards it and screamed, "EVERYONE ELSE OUT TOO. ELSE YOU'LL HAVE HELL TO PAY."

The girls walked out and lingered in the yard, waiting for the others. Finally, they came out. "Good, now let's go," Kimiko said immediately. She started walking and the others let out a sigh, following her.

Sanji's POV

We had been walking for about 2 hours now, and everyone, besides me and Kimiko, were either were starving or exhausted. "You sure this idiot will come back soon?" I asked Kimiko. Without even glancing at me, she responded "Yes, Sanji. This is the 20th time I've told you. He WILL come back." I just sighed and shook my head.

We looked everywhere (again) but we still couldn't find Yato. When everyone had given up, I was raging so hard, I yelled "HEY KUSOGAMI! WHERE THE ACTUAL FUCK ARE YOU, YOU SHITTY BASTARD?!" I kicked down a tree and started destroying it, which startled everybody. Kimiko sadly sniffed and told us to go home, which we did.

I looked outside the window after some hours, and saw it was getting dark. I sighed loudly and was about to go to my room, when I felt something. It was like a pounding in my head, which could only meant something. "GUUUUUYS!!" I yelled, and everyone ran to see what was wrong. "Yato's back. I can feel him" I told everyone. "How?..." Aika asked while eating ice cream. "After so many years of knowing that moron, I can sense the lack of intelligence in the air..." I said. Kimiko rolled her eyes and told us to follow her.

When we reached the town square, we saw Yato standing there, staring at the sky. Everyone yelled in raging unison, "YATOOOOO!" Catnip, with a beer on her hand, and Aika, holding her bucket of icecream, ran towards Yato and knocked him to the ground. "HOW DARE YOU MAKE KIMIKO WORRY ABOUT YOU, ASSHOLE?!" Aika yelled at Yato. Kimiko walked towards him as he stood up, and hugged him tightly. "We were worried about you, you were gone for a long time and we've been searching here the whole time" she said. Yato looked really confused, then said "Uhhhm... How long was I gone?" I stared at him and said "You really don't know? It's been a whole week." Yato's eye widened, and then he yelled "WAIT WHAAAAT??!?!" I raised an eyebrow and shook my head in disappointment.

Yato's POV

We all sat down as I explained what happened after I got dragged into Ryder's shadow world. Then, considering I'd been gone for a week (not from my point of view) we could only conclude that Ryder could control the flow of time in his shadow world.

Speaking of Ryder, after knocking him out, we dragged him to the house and restrained him with some power restraining handcuffs the others found. "So now, we wait for him to wake up and then interrogate him." I said "We could even have him as a ransom for the government"

And that was that, afterwards we just got on with our day, taking shifts on who watches Ryder. Aika raided the kitchen and started eating, Catnip went out with Zach to do god-knows-what, Sanji took the first shift watching Ryder, Natasha and Nicollet went out dragging Kimiko with them, and I went out to walk in the forest.

It was dark, but whenever I felt overwhelmed or tired, I find the forest peaceful at night. I got up on a tree and took a nap. I placed traps around me, just in case. I still couldn't believe it had been a full week since I fought with Ryder, everyone must've been worried. As soon as Ryder woke up, I wanted to be the first one to greet him with a fist to the face. I'd make him tell us what the hell was their goal capturing Kimiko.
