Chapter 24

"But still, what you did was wrong---" Mrs Yoo was cut off by Mr Choi, "What's your relationship with Yoon Jeonghan?"

Mingyu and Wonwoo remained silent, while Areum is sniffling and the two guys, Heejun and Joongyu who beat Jeonghan up remained silent too, lowering both of their heads.

Mr Choi's sudden question made Seungcheol silent. He can't answer that question. He himself doesn't even know what are they, really. Are they friends? Acquaintances? He himself doesn't know. He can't say that they're a couple because they're just pretending after all to get rid of Areum. All he know is he loves Yoon Jeonghan more than anything.

"Answer me, Choi Seungcheol." Mr Choi commanded. His voice was firm and full of authority.

"I don't know.." Seungcheol answered blankly. That was the most truthful answer from him. He in fact doesn't know what their relationship is.

"What do you mean you don't know? There are a lot of rumors that I'm hearing that both of you are dating!" Mr Choi couldn't help but shout. Mrs Yoo tried to calm him down.

"Then what if the rumors are true?" Seungcheol stood up, facing his Dad. Seungcheol can clearly see the extreme madness in his Dad's eyes.

Seungcheol walked out of the office. Mr Choi turned his head on Mingyu and Wonwoo. "Kim Mingyu, follow him." Mr Choi ordered and Mingyu immediately ran after Seungcheol. Wonwoo stayed there and trying not to show any fear with what might happen.

Seungcheol walked so fast and even though Mingyu is a long-legged person, he couldn't catch up easily with Seungcheol's speed.

Seungcheol hopped in his car, "Hop in." Seungcheol said, and Mingyu pointed at himself, but Seungcheol didn't bother to take a glance on him. "Are you gonna hop in or I'm gonna leave you standing there?" Seungcheol asked, still not even looking at Mingyu. Mingyu who's quite scared with his friend, immediately hopped inside his car with a hesitant face.

Seungcheol drove to the hospital again. He saw Minghao outside the room. "What are you doing here outside?" Seungcheol asked.

"Junhui won't stop bothering me so I decided to sit here." Minghao explained. Seungcheol went inside and he saw Junhui playing with his phone.

"Oh, you're here.." Junhui said and stood up from the chair, giving th chair for Seungcheol to sit down.

"How's he?" Seungcheol asked, eyes fixed on Jeonghan who's still unconscious.

"Still unconscious as you can see.. The doctor said he might wake up in two to three days." Junhui answered. Mingyu sat beside Junhui on the couch near the hospital bed.

The room was filled with silence, not until Jihoon, Soonyoung, Seokmin and Joshua barged inside the room. Joshua only took a glance on Seungcheol and their eyes met, but Joshua looked away. He's still mad with Seungcheol for what happened to Jeonghan.

"How is he?" Jihoon asked. "Still unconscious." Seungcheol answered.

"Still your fault." Joshua added but Seokmin stopped him from throwing such words on Seungcheol.

"I know it's my fault..." Seungcheol spoke up. "But I will always protect him no matter what." Seungcheol added up, and Joshua smirked at him.

"Protect him no matter what? But why is he lying on a fucking hospital bed if you really protected him?" Joshua asked, sounding so sarcastic.

"You know that I was in a motherfucking practice, Joshua. You're the one who was with him that time!" Seungcheol defended and he's right. Jeonghan was with them that's why he didn't worry too much. Joshua wasn't able to answer.
