"Okay, under my bed I have paperwork for the home and all. You just need to fill your name on some of them and you should be fine. The police won't look into it, if anything they will be happy that you're getting rid of my stuff." You said.
"So you're coming again. Next weekend?" Dal asked soda.
"No in two weeks. I'm sure if I go right away they'll be suspicious, and after that I'll bring everything you guys need. And I think we can even help the two of you. But the next time I see you two will be the last won't it?" Soda asked.
"Yeah, we have enough money to get a home over there now. And selling y/n's stuff we can maybe get some food and furniture over there. It would be nice." Dal said.
"Yeah it will be. Dal can I talk to you in private for a bit" soda said looking at you.
Well that's my cue to leave.
"I get it, I'll get going." You said.
"Alright. Thanks again y/n." Soda said. He seemed relieved. Like he had one less worry to stress about. You felt happy, helping soda and pony made you feel nice. He gave you a big hug and dal of course looked a bit jealous.
The two went down the hill while you walked towards the church. Johnny following behind and you mess up his hair.
God once I get a job in Mexico I'll save up money to give him a proper haircut. Dal is nice but no hair cutter....
"Should we get something to eat?" You asked johnny.
"Will soda join us?" Johnny asks.
"Maybe? I think he's staying the night so maybe we should spend a bit? All we have here are old ham sandwiches." You sighed.
"Well. I've been wanting a burger for awhile" johnny says shyly.
"Burgers again? Didn't we have that. Like a few hours ago?" You chuckled.
"Yeah awhile, I've been wanting a burger for awhile. I just ate one I still am kinda hungry maybe I can get one with bacon on it. The first burger wasn't as filling as I wanted it to be." he said chuckling quietly.
He had his head down and looking at his shoes. They were worn out, almost like those eyes of his. He had been through a lot.
He's always been so quiet. Would this be better for him? This is a big change and he's just a kid. This seems like so much stress on him.
"Johnny, do you want to come with us?" You ask.
"What?" Johnny asked shocked.
"Soda is here. And. Well I don't know if you'll like mexico. It's going to be a huge change. And I don't know if you will have a good time with us. If you wanna go back with pony you can. I'm sure you will share a room with him or something." You said.
"No! I can't leave you. I can't leave you and dal." Johnny said.
"Johnny, that's sweet. But you have to be selfish for yourself. Are you sure you want to do this?" You ask him.
He looks at you straight in the eye and nods. You sigh, you were glad he was coming with you. But you were taking a huge risk in bringing him along.
It's a risk I'm willing to take. For Johnny's sake I'll do my best to make sure he is happy as can be.
You hug johnny. And he hugs back tightly.
"I love you y/n, I know you're not that older than me but. You're like the mom I wish I had." He says hugging you tighter.
"I love you too johnny, and I promise I'll do my best to make sure we live a long and happy life." You smiled at him and kiss his forehead.
God he really still a kid. He acts like a child, his mother is so awful for giving him so much trauma.
"Now let's get going and put on your hat I found you, I'll put on my sunglasses. So we don't match our descriptions." You said letting go of johnny.
"But you dyed and cut your hair. You don't look like your description and you got a bit tanner here." Johnny says.
He didn't like wearing his hat. To be fair it was trash, you found the hat and glasses in the trash by your work.
Better than nothing
"It's only for awhile, plus you'll forget you're wearing it after eating that burger." You said.
"Now let's go see if dally and soda stopped being so secretive" you winked at johnny and he chuckled.
I do wonder why they wanted a moment alone.
