Aftermath

"Wh-what are you do... I mean, why are you sleeping here? Did you get hurt, too?" Rin questioned. "No, I didn't. I came in here to get some IV stuff and saw you two sleeping, so I decided to lie down and take a nap. Good job, guys. Suguro and the others told me you two saved the day." Shiemi said.

"Well, it was 'do or die" time so someone had to step up. We couldn't have done it without everyone else, though." I said. "I...I especially couldn't have done it without you, too." Rin admitted.

I decided to stay quiet. I was waiting to see the sudden interesting scene playing out in front of me. "Hmm?" Shiemi asked. "I thought about you and it gave me a boost. Thanks... you know, for that." Rin said, blushing even more. I could hear Rin mentally freaking out. Sadly though, I could not stop it.

"Really?" Shiemi came closer to his face. What the? This was actually going to work? "What?" Rin blushed even harder, noticing how close Shiemi was to him. "I helped you when you were fighting?" Shiemi asked. "Well, yeah, of course. A whole lot." Rin said, then gasped slightly. Shiemi blushed, placing her hands on her face. Was she about to cry? "I did?" Shiemi asked. "Rin!" Shiemi grabbed his hand.

"Y-Yeah?" Rin gasped. I gasped in shock. 'If you manage to get Shiemi to be your girlfriend today, then this will definitely be a sign that the apocalypse is coming.' I thought. 

"Listen. I... I... From now on, no matter what happens, I swear... you and I will be friends forever!" Rin and I took a moment to reprocess what Shiemi said.

"Not just forever. Forever and ever. OK? That includes you too, Akia!" Shiemi told me.

 "Uh..." Rin started. Shiemi covered her face in embarrassment, letting go of Rin and shrieking. "I said it, I said it! I can't believe I actually said it!" Shiemi said. I was struggling to breathe, trying not to laugh very loudly.

'God damn it! She friend-zoned me!' I heard Rin pout inside my mind and at this moment, I was on the floor, laughing very hard that I was actually choking on pure air. Tears form in my eyes due to laughing so hard.

"So, friends forever, huh?" A mini blue flame appeared on the tip of Rin's tail. Suddenly, I heard Renzo snort. Rin gasped. "Shima!" Rin yelled. Renzo giggled. "Sorry, dude, I couldn't hold it in." Renzo laughed.

"Wh-What are you doing here?" Rin asked, completely embarrassed, while I continued to laugh. "I didn't feel like walking back to my folks' house. There wasn't a place to crash anywhere else, so they stuck me in here with you love birds." Renzo explained.

"Then you heard?" Rin asked. "Of course we did, Rin. I suggest that you accept being her friend." Iida said. "Iida?!" Rin gasped. "Sudden friend zone!" I heard Midoriya gasp, covering his mouth.

"Midoriya!" Rin yelped. "What is a friend zone?" I heard Todoroki ask, mumbling to himself. "You're so loud, we all heard you." I heard Izumo's voice. "Izumo?" I asked. I then heard a toy squeaking. "And the puppet dude, too? What the hell?!" Rin asked in shock. 

"The only ones who aren't here are Suguro and Miwa." Todoroki said. "Yeah, they got set up in their own rooms." Renzo said. 

"Hey, Rin, as your sister, you have my sympathies. For real. I totally feel your pain deep down." I tried my very best to keep my composure, but it was obviously failing.

I could feel Rin glaring daggers at me. "Oh. I almost forgot. We're heading back in a couple of days. Ms. Kirigakure's giving us tomorrow off so we can have some fun. So if you want..." Renzo started. Rin's and Shiemi's eyes lit up in excitement. Yup, we were going to see Kyoto Tower tomorrow. Today was a day of rest.

The next day, Rin, Yukio, Izum, Shiemi, Midoriya, Iida, Miwa, Renzo, Ryuji, the puppet guy, Todoroki and I were going to take a sightseeing tour around Kyoto. "Oh, yeah!" Rin said. "If we're gonna get all touristy, might as well start with the Golden Pavilion." Shima said.
