I looked at Newt and Minho.
"She's with them?" I asked
"What the hell? Teresa?" Fry said as we stood beside my cousin
"Wait what's going on?" Newt asked
"She's with them" Thomas confirmed my thought

She didn't look sad or regretful
"Since when?" Minho asked the boy
I held Newts hand firmly in mine.
"Oh Teresa's always had an evolved appreciation of the greater good" Janson said walking over

"Once we restored her memories, it was only a matter of time" he said walking around the two
"I'm sorry" she said

We just looked hurt. Not wanting to believe it
"No you're not" I said angrily
"I had no choice. This is the only way" she said
"We have to find a cure."

"She's right. This is all just a means to an end. You used to understand that Thomas" Ava stuck up for her.
"No matter what you think of me. I'm not a monster I'm a doctor. I swore and oath to find a cure, no matter the cost. We just need more time" she said to us

"More blood" Mary called out
"Hello Mary" Ava said
"I hoped we'd meet again. I'm sorry it had to be under these circumstances " She said
"I'm sorry about a lot of things too. But not this. At least my conscience is clear" Mary said
"So is mine" Ava said

And a gunshot rung out. And Mary fell to the ground. Vince started to scream out her name
I ran to her and tried to heal it "it's okay Y/N." She said patting my hand
I cried. The only adult I had left from my past.
"No!" Vince screamed

"Come on Janson. Load them up. Let's go" Ava said walking away and Teresa went with her

The guards started to grab at us again
"All these people. Get rid of them. Let's go let's go" she shouted out

Thomas was being taken, but he elbowed the guard pulling out a bomb.
"Get back. Get back. Stand back. Everyone stand back" he shouted out
"Hold your fire" Janson said
"Stand back. Let em go" Thomas said

"Thomas put it down" Janson said
"LET THEM ALL GO!" Thomas shouted
"You know I can't do that!" Ava shouted at him
"Thomas please stop. I made a deal with them. They promised- they promised we'd be safe. All of us" Teresa cried
"And I'm supposed to trust you now?" He asked her annoyed

"It's true. It was her only condition" Ava said
"Shut up!" Thomas shouted at her

"Everything can go back to the way it was. Thomas...." Ava said stepping to him
"Do you really want all of them to die" Ava said again
"Listen to her Thomas. Think about what you're doing" Janson said

I looked and Newt. And nodded. I stepped beside my cousin. So did everyone else
"We're with you Thomas." Newt said fear in his voice.
"No" Teresa whispered
"Dont" Ava said

"Do it Thomas. We're ready" Minho said
"It's okay" Fry whispered
I held a hand on my cousins shoulder. Possibly for the last time. My last family member.
My half big brother.

"We're not going back there" he said to them
"Thomas" Ava said
"It's the only way" Thomas said scrunching his eyes ready to push the button
"THOMAS!" Ava called out

A horn beeped and a truck came ramming into a helicopter
I had to jump out of the way.

We ran and chaos broke out

A guard held a gun to us. "Get down" the guard said
Thomas threw the bomb at them and we ran

Janson ran over and back handed Thomas making him fall over again.
He held then held a gun to my cousin
"NO!" I screamed making a fireball rest to throw it
"What a waste." Janson said
But he got shot in the shoulder and fell backwards
I helped Thomas up, and we backed up.
