she joins the two at the island, sitting across from them. "i would like to see him though."

"i'm sure you will." gabbi says, "he seems like the guy to come."

"have you met him yet?" gwynne aks, gabbi shaking her head in response. "he's really sweet."

"to you." sibyl states. "he says he hates me." she laughs.

gwynne rolls her eyes, "and you tell him to die at least once a day."

sibyl rolls her eyes playfully, shoveling a spoonful of cereal into her mouth. she knew gwynne was right, so she chose not to respond.

she ate in a comfortable silence, tapping random beats with her feet on the ground. gwynne and gabbi fell into their own conversation when daniel made his way downstairs.

he was on spring break, and he was hardly home except for the mornings of nights that he slept there. she was happy to see him having fun,

"good morning, dan." she says, shooting a warm smile at her brother. he had grown up significantly since february. he gained a few inches, making him tower over the three of them.

"good morning." he says. "can i borrow your car again?"

"when?" she asks, finishing her bowl of cereal.

"this evening. i have to uh.. pick up my buddies cousin from the airport." he says, "i can drop you off and pick you up from work?"

"fine." she says. "who's cousin?" she asks, furrowing her eyebrows.

"brian's." he states, opening a banana.

"oh he's nice!" gwynne says, "i liked him."

"be ready to leave at three-fifteen then." sibyl jokes, making her brother roll his eyes.

she pulls out her phone once they fall into another wave of silence,

sibyl sighs, turning her phone off and putting it on the table.  it was currently one pm, so she should probably start getting ready.

she makes her way upstairs, blow drying her hair in the bathroom and then walking to her bedroom. she fills in her brows and applies mascara, she same thing as usual.

she sits at her vanity, wondering what video techno was filming and if he'd let her see it before he posts it.

it was already nearing two-thirty somehow. she sighs, getting out of her desk chair and replacing her sweatpants with a pair of loose fitting jeans.

she brushes her teeth one last time, putting socks on and making her way downstairs. she put on her required nosnslip shoes and grabbed her purse.

she and danny walked out to the car, her hesitantly climbing into the passengers seat. "don't you dare let me die."

the ride to the grocery store was quick, and just as she's walking into the building, her phone buzzes. she pulls it out of her pocket and looks at the notification.
