Chapter 36- Readying for War

Galatea: Criminals? You pressed criminals into military service?

Alexander: I have foreseen the indoctrination process, it is without flaw. They are given the mindset of a proper Krieger, they will hold the line

Galatea: As you say my emperor, the Sisters of Battle have a sizable force in Kyoroch. We can deploy to aid the southern front

Alexander: Send a majority of your forces to aid the Death Korps. Send whatever you can up north to reinforce the northern front

Galatea: It will be done my emperor

Vandenberg: The Armageddon Steel Legion appreciates the aid. Our armored forces are strong, we can hold back whatever heretic forces come for a time

Alexander: Good, but I will issue an order soon. When that order comes you will advance into the north steadily and await my own arrival before advancing further

Vandenberg: Yes my emperor

Alexander: Erickson, how goes the construction of new titans?

Erickson: To construct more titans will take time, we were fortunate to construct an Imperator-class titan. Melissa built it off the remnants of one found a few miles away

Alexander: We are indeed lacking valuable time. Though I take it you can construct something else?

Erickson: We are able to construct imperial knights. Although these walkers are smaller they can be produced more and are faster

Alexander: Then you may begin their construction, the loyal nobility of those who fled the capital should make good pilot candidates

Erickson: Of course my emperor, do you have any other orders for the Mechanicus?

Alexander: That is all, just continue the production of war gear. Fenix, what's the status of the Blood Angels Legion?

Fenix: Our ranks have increased my emperor, we are nearly four hundred strong

Alexander: Good, I want you to send half of the forces to the southern front. We'll begin to push there soon after their first attacks

Fenix: And the other half my emperor?

Alexander: Make sure there are one hundred garrisoned here and recruiting more. The other one hundred will slowly advance on the Empire's forces

Alexander: One more thing, I have a project for Melissa. I will give her the blueprints momentarily

Erickson: Of course, she will be happy to complete the project

Alexander: Excellent, I need a report on Run's status. How is he Fenix?

Fenix: He is on the verge of a full recovery, he will soon be able to join the Ikisat. Your Sanguinary Guard

The rest of his council walked out behind them, with Galatea looking to Najenda before walking past her. Fenix himself stayed behind Alexander for a moment, studying Night Raid. While the others of inner circle had left the area, there was an eerie silence as Fenix looked at each Night Raid member.
