Somebody to Love

Poor real Sarah Hiddleston. She's probably like the nicest person out there.

Tom walks out of the courthouse holding his children to protect them from the paparazzi. He knew his mother and sister were behind him... but not the sister he needed to talk to.

"Mr. Hiddleston? Mr. Hiddleston, what did they say? Do you have custody?"

"Please excuse us," Tom says and pushes past the crowd, continuing to protect his children from their glaze.

Bethany follows and holds onto Bella's hand, which is hanging over Tom's shoulder.

"Mrs. Hiddleston, did you get custody? Are you adopting them?"

"No questions please." Bethany exclaims. "This time is for my family."

Tom steps into the limo and it takes them away. He always drove everywhere, he thought riding in a limo was for the arrogant, if you were a celebrity, but he wanted to take one for the girls. They always thought limos were the coolest thing ever and would beg Tom to take them to school in one. His go-to response was we're no better than anyone else. No one else goes to school in a limo so why should you? He installed humility in them as very young children.

"Daddy, my feet hurt. Can I take off my shoes?" Arielle asks and wiggles her toes under her small heels.

"Mine too." Bethany chuckles and unstraps her heels. "I love them but my feet are too fat for these long term."

"Arielle, you may take your shoes off but put them back on by the time we get home. Darling, your feet are not fat, don't say that."

"Well they weren't... then you knocked me up. I blame this on you."

"Ahh, I see." Tom smiles, causing Bethany to hold his hand.

"So Daddy?" Bella asks.

"Yes, darling?"

"We get to go home now with you?"

"Yes. We'll do whatever you girls want tonight. We can have a big feast and order in."

"Which cake for dessert?" Arielle adds.

"With cake for dessert."

"What was that guy saying about Auntie Sarah? Grandma and Auntie Emma looked really mad at her."

"Arielle, honey," Bethany whispers and shakes her head.

"No, it's alright. Um... Auntie Sarah just made a mistake, that's all." Tom says.

He doesn't feel that way, of course, but he wouldn't tell the girls that. He blames his sister for what occured with Zawe. If Sarah never agreed to meeting with Zawe, she wouldn't have came back to try and get the girls. He knows she wouldn't have.

Arielle takes off her shoes and neatly sets them on the car floor. She brings her feet in front of Tom's face and starts wiggling her toes.

"Get those feet out of her," he chuckles and pushes her legs down.

She giggles and snuggles against his chest. "I missed you, Daddy." she whispers.

"I missed you too, my little nugget." Tom looks over at Bella and pulls her in next to Arielle. "And I missed you."

"I missed you too, Daddy."

"But did you hav fun with Grandma Diana and Auntie Emma?"

"We did. She made us cake."

"Cake? More cake? You're both gonna become cake!"

"It's yummy."

"It is pretty yummy, isn't it?" Bethany smiles. "I like me some cake."
