Fangon - The Quest for Peace

Chapter 3

"Okay you want to know, fine" I say throwing the supply's on the horse.

"I'm not from your world I'm from this world called Fangon, I was a part of the Royal army and was a very famous warrior, but I was framed for something I did not even do and got sentience to death but before I was killed I was sent to your world for my safety" I stare at each one of my friends faces and see shock and confusion, then all of a sudden I hear them break out into laughter.

I wait until they have finished to respond, I knew they would not understand.

"I told you it was crazy, now can we go?" I say motioning towards to horses. Alice is the first one to respond.

"I can't believe you think we are that dumb, magic is not real, and you are so clumsy there is no way you can be a fighter", I start to become frustrated.

"Did you not see what I just did, Alice I have never lied to you about anything, why would I start now?", Alice shocked by my outburst takes a step back.

"Listen I know how this looks and sounds, but we don't have time for this we need to go now the soldier will be arriving to the castle soon and when he tells the King and Queen what I did we won't be safe, now does anyone know how to ride a horse".

"Dan and I can, he took me horseback riding for my birthday last year" Alice motions towards herself and Dan, I nod then motion for everyone to get on the horses.

Lisa rides with Dan, Jace rides with Alice and Tony ride with me.

"So if we are not safe here where should we go?" asks Tony holding on to me tighter.

"First we need to get some clothing, we stick out to much and they will easy find us, then we need to hid out somewhere where you guys will be safe so I can figure out what the hell is going on".

We ride for a couple of hours North untill I spot a farm in the distance.

"You guys stay here and rest I will see if they have some clothing we can borrow", everyone gets of their horse's and sit down on the ground and start talking between them.

I start heading towards the farmhouse and see a man and women tending to some pigs.

"Excuse me I was wondering if you could help me" before I know it, they are holding weapons and pointing them at me.

"Stay back" the man says shaking while holding his weapon, I could easy overpower them but chose against it.

"Calm down I am not here to do you any harm" I say taking a step back.

"We know your kind, taking what you want without thinking of others" the women says with a stone face.

"Who do you think I am" I ask confused by this situation.

"A solider from the Royal army, I can see the crown emblem on your horse" the man says slowly getting closer to me.

"I am not a member of the Royal army, in the king's forest some soldiers attacked me and my friends, we defended ourselves and took their houses to get away", they looked shocked.

"How did you defeat them?" the women asked.

"When I was a young girl a man taught me how to defend myself and fight" they drop their weapons and apology's.

"Where sorry a few months ago the Royal soldiers came to our village and destroyed half of the village because they wanted money and when they found out there was none they burnt half the buildings, our son was killed trying to defend the village" they say with sad faces.

"I am so sorry for your loss, me and my friends are only looking for a change of clothing, we have money we took from the solders" I say and hand them a sack of gold coins.

The man and women exchange a look then the women guide's me into their home and hands me some clothing, before I leave I give them my thanks and head back to my friends.

"What took you so long" asked Dan.

"I was just talking to them" I say zoning out as I hand everyone some clothing,

"Ava what's wrong" asks Jace as he sits down next to me.

"The farmer and his wife told me a story about their old village and how soldiers destroyed it, everything has changed, I should have been her to help them" I say as tears threaten to pour out.

"Hey it's okay you're here now, I'm not really sure what's going on and I don't really know if this is actually real or if I'm dreaming or high, but I do know that you are one of the kindest and strongest people that I know and if there was a way for you to get back here you would of taken it" Jace says and I laugh and lean my head against his shoulder.

"That's the thing, I don't know if I would have, I loved your would and you all, this world is so hard some times that it was nice that the only issue I had was Dan and Alice breaking up" Jace laughs and hugs me for a moment longer until we break away to get changed.
