"Y/N!" you shot up noticing the entire Hargreeves building was shaking. You turned and saw Klaus and Diego standing above you.

"What's going on?" you asked as Diego pulled you to your feet.

"We gotta get out of here!" Klaus said, rushing to the doorway. "The place is coming down!"

"What!?" you said as Diego gripped your forearm, pulling you out of the room. "Where's Five?"

Neither of the men answered you as you ran.

"Mom!" Diego yelled as you reached the kind of balcony part of the upper floor. "Where is she?"

"Mom!" Klaus yelled, running down the small bridge. You rushed after them, screaming as rumble fell onto the boy's head.

"Klaus!" you exclaimed, rushing toward the two. Klaus groaned but got up.

"I'm ok," he said. He then looked at the ceiling. You followed his gaze, noticing the cracking and unstable ceiling.

"Diego!" you screamed, shaking the unconscious Diego.

"Diego!" Klaus said. Suddenly, an invisible force pulled Diego before the rubble fell. Klaus grabbed you and jumped toward Diego. You stared in fear at the large hole in the ground where you, Klaus, and Diego had previously been standing. "Holy shit," Klaus said, making you look at him. "Come on, Diego." He pulled you and Diego to your feet before running once more.

You finally reached a window. Klaus helped Diego out first. "But Five-" you began, looking at the collapsing interior.

"He got out," Klaus said quickly. "Come on, Y/N!" He grabbed you and helped you through the window as well. You climbed down, watching as Klaus followed.

"Come on," Diego said, pulling you and Klaus toward an alley. He then stopped, grabbing Klaus. "Hey, you saved my life, man," he said with a grin.

"Okay, great," Klaus said absentmindedly as Diego pulled him into a tight hug.

Diego then pulled away, staring at the large building. "Mom. Mom!" The two suddenly began screaming at Grace through the window. She stared at them sadly. Diego ran toward the building, Klaus dashing after him. You ran after the two, your mind racing.

Finally, you found them searching through the rubble. "Diego, just stop," you saw Klaus pull Diego from the broken building.

"Let me go- what are you doing?" Diego exclaimed as Klaus held him at arm's length.

"She's gone," Klaus said. "She's gone, okay? She's..." Klaus shook his head.

"What do you wanna do?" Diego asked. "You wanna-- wanna, walk away from this?"

"No," Klaus said softly.

"What about Pogo?" you asked softly.

"He didn't make it," Luther said, making you look at him.

"What?" Klaus asked.

"Vanya killed him," Luther said.

"No, Vanya doesn't have any powers," you said, furrowing your brows.

"Apparently she does," Luther said.

"But Vanya wouldn't-"

"No, I saw it," Luther interrupted. "Just before we got out."

"Mom, now Pogo," Diego said. He gasped gently, lowering himself down.

"Guys!" a voice said suddenly. You all turned to see Five running toward the group. Your eyes widened and you ran toward him. He hugged you tightly. "This is it," he said, pulling away from the hug. "The apocalypse is still on. The world ends today."

"I thought you said it was over," Diego said.

"I was wrong, ok?" Five said. "This newspaper, I found it in the future the day I got stuck." He held up a newspaper. "The headline hasn't changed."

"No, that doesn't mean anything," Diego said. "The time could've been altered since that newspaper came out this morning."

"You're not listening to me," Five hissed. "When I found it, I assumed this place came down along with everything else."

"But we're all here," you said quietly.

"The Moon's still shining, the Earth is in one piece-"

"But not the Academy," you finished.

"I'm confused," Klaus said, grabbing the newspaper.

"Then, listen to me, you idiot!" Five exclaimed. "Vanya destroys the Academy before the apocalypse. I thought Herold Jenkins was the cause, but he was the fuse."

"Vanya is the real cause of the apocalypse," you said.
