"Guns get the job done," Joe started, "but a man ain't nothing if he can't tear the head off a hellish beast with only his bare hands!"

Blitzø took this as an opportunity to poke fun at Moxxie.

"Ha! He's right, Moxxie! You got a cute little baby hand like your baby dick-!"
"Refrain sir." Moxxie was disappointed.

"Speaking of strong hands, y'all should meet our newest help. Hey, Striker!"
Joe called out.

All of a sudden, a horse came galloping towards the farm. A demon wearing a cowboy hat and a red bandana was coming close to us.

When the horse came to a stop, he greeted us. I'm guessing this was Striker.

"Well, howdy!"
He came off of his horse and went over to Millie.
"Well, lookie here! You must be the famous Mildred! Heard some good things about you from your folks, little lady!"
He shook hands with Millie as she giggled.
"So what are y'all doing so far away from Imp City? Huh. Free working finally slowing down?"
Striker asked.

"Oh no! Freelancing isn't free, is it?"
Millie asked herself.
"Never mind. We're just visiting for the festival. The prince is our boss's boyfriend!~"

Blitzø looked at her angrily.
"Millie, I am not above hitting a female in front of her daddy."

"Boss, huh?" Striker turned to Blitzø.
"Oh so you're the bold imp that started his own killing biz?"

"Yeah, well if you're good at something, you should probably capitalize."
Blitzø smirked.

"Not many imps start businesses on their own. That's pretty impressive, sir."
Striker smiled.

"Oh. yeah, It is it is I-"
Blitzø paused.
"I guess it is then."

Striker then turned to me.
"And who's this little darling?"
I felt a light red spread across my face.

"O-oh! I-I'm (Y-Y/N). I-it's a pleasure to m-meet you sir!"
I held out my hand immediately.

Instead of shaking it, he took my hand and and kissed it.
I fangirled intensely in my head.
"Please, call me Striker, (Y/N)."
He smirked at me.

I blushed hard.

"Ehehehe!~"
I giggled.

"So! You boys should enter the Pain Games."
Joe suggested.

Blitzø looked excited.
"I heard games! What games? I'm in!"

"Every harvest festival, there's a competition to be the roughest toughest bastard in Wrath!"
Lin explained.

Millie folded her arms and pouted.
"Yeah! Wish I could play!"

Lin put a hand on Millie's shoulder.
"Millie, you know you get too carried away! The last competition ended in fifteen separate funerals!"

"I'm aware! But I only caused nine of them! How come Sallie May still gets to compete?"
Millie asked.

"Your sister doesn't have a neighborhood head count."

"She so does!"

Just then, her sister, Sallie May, walked by.

"Doesn't count if they don't find the bodies!~"
She said in a sing-song voice.

"Still you get to root for her and your brothers and now you get to cheer on your boss!"
Lin reassured Millie.

"You know, she can also cheer for me."
Moxxie said confidently.

I already knew what was coming. Whilst Joe poked fun at Moxxie, I looked over at Striker.

Who was already looking at me.

"Enjoying the view?~"
He smirked.

"I-I-!"
I stumbled over my words.
He laughed.

He went over to Moxxie, still trying to gain approval.

"I was born here too! I have some fight in me."
Moxxie felt Striker' s hand on his shoulder.

"Huh. Well then little fella, why don't you help me wrangle up them hogs for dinner?"
He pointed to the Hell Hog in the pen.

"Simple. Watch me."
Moxxie was about to pull out his gun, but Striker stopped him.

"With these."
Striker handed him a rope and a dagger.
"Bullets can't pierce the shell. You gotta get the knife underneath them and pry yourself an opening."

"Uh Moxxie, are you sure you wanna do this?"
I ask him, just in case.

"Y-yeah! I've got this!"
He walked over confidently to the pen.

Moxxie entered the pen.
I was worried for him.

He leaped towards the hog and wrapped the rope around the hogs neck.
He tried to stab the hog but it didn't do jackshit.

The hog started freaking out and Moxxie held on for dear fucking life.

I couldn't let him suffer like this.

I ran into the pen, managed to grab the dagger from Moxxie's hand while pushing him out of the way and stabbed the hog. I managed to get under its shell as Moxxie ran out back to Millie.

"Woah."
Striker looked surprisingly at me.

"HAHA! MOXXIE, YOU WEAK BITCH!"
Blitzø yelled at Moxxie, but he didn't even care. Millie helped him out using some cloth as a cast.

"Hey boss man. You wanna help the men skin this thing for dinner?"
Striker picked up the hog and heaved it on his shoulder.

"Oh I am always down for skinning the manly meat with the manly man!"
Blitzø adjusted the straps on his overalls.

Me and Loona said
"That's what she said!" in unison.

We're not even at the festival and things have already gotten wild.

I wonder what Striker's deal is...
