I reached over picking up one of our programed burner phones.

Need to meet, Logan. I sent to Wolf. Waiting for his reply as well as Chelsea I rested back, I needed to deal with Robert Delaney, before I set out to find these two individuals. Look I trust your judgment, you’re our ears and eyes for the outside world Logan, if you believe we should plant someone in, instead of rushing in, I agree with you, I smiled nodding, Chelsea I need to deal with Robert first but as soon as that is handled I will begin looking for them, I swore after she placed that faith in me.

Booting up my computer I went to see the downloaded data from the last two days, still searching for what the government had going on that led to their confirmation of shifters. I had gone in undercover and placed my virus on multiple computers and systems, each day my people searching and digging around the found data. Finding backdoors into various systems would take much too long but getting within the vicinity of different hubs, well that was all I needed for my team to download my virus in.

My phone buzzed. Looking down, come to my office, W.

“You guys check over the data,” I instructed, leaving the room and teleporting myself right outside of Wolfs’ office. I braced my self as I did now when I had to interact with this man that was my father but didn’t know it. It was different then when I would spend time with Rainy, there were so many questions I wanted to know about our mother that I knew he had the answer too, but I hadn’t been able to bring myself to even tell him that Rainy and I were his children. There was also a part of me that that didn’t want to tell him, just to protect my sister, from his lifestyle. The way he treated women, the way his outlaw gang behaved, there utter lack of respect for women, Rainy had lived with that for ten years… how would she react if she learned that her father housed and ran with people that treated women so oppressively?

His guard let me in, entering I went straight to his desk sitting in front of him, “You know – my people found someone from that list, Robert Delaney,” Wolf leaned back, similar expression of Chelsea and Gabriel, the disbelief. He put the documents in front of him away, “You found one of them? Already?” his tone incredulous as theirs, “and not just one but the big one that two others used in the riddles?” nodding I leaned forward.

“I want you to handle a transfer, a setup of sorts,” I began, not mentioning Chelsea or Gabriel, “I don’t want to lose him, but as you implied, it is a bit too convenient. I want to test that, give good ole Robert an out.”

Wolf eyed me for minute, “so you want to let him escape-”

“No I want to see if he tries to escape-” he squinted, “And what happens when he does?” he cocked his head to the side, his eyes on mine. “We track him… see where he leads us.” I keep eye contact while he contemplates the plan, but a picture I hadn’t seen before when I was in this office a few days ago catches my attention. My eyes jerked back over to Wolf, and I still at being caught looking at the picture that I know now is my mother, his mate. Tell him… my wolf urges me, the same way my mate Abby had. I want to tell him, for weeks now I’ve wanted too and now he catches me watching the picture, his posture changes, he stiffens taking the picture ready to put it away. Pulling out my wallet, I take the new picture I have of Rainy. Neither Rainy nor I favored Wolf in the physical features department, however I didn’t father my mother too much either.
