The Call

Once you heard the back door shut from downstairs you stopped looking on his phone & went into your room to relax & think about random things.

When Adam made his way upstairs to see your door shut he didn't nother to go over into your room. Instead he went into his room, grabbed his phone with your fingerprints all over it & dialed the number he's been looking at & not replying back to.

*ringing*

*ringing*

*the person on the line picks up*

"Hello, this is Adam Driver I wanted to call to ask why your calling me & who are you anyway?" Adam asks over the phone. "My name is Joel & I've been trying to get a hold of you because one of your people you know is working on a movie shoot in California & he wants you to go over there & be a part of it. Does that sound good to you?" Joel asks. "Yes, that does sound good just when does he want me in California?" Adam asks. "As soon as possible." Joel replies. "Ok, well I have a almost a 9 month pregnant wife that I'm dealing with here at my home in Brooklyn with her so the soonest time I can come to California is after the baby is born." Adam says. "Ok, Adam. I understand that but could you at least come over for at least a day maybe two & then go back? He really wants you to be in the movie & he wants to see you as well. So could you do that?" Joel asks as Adam sighs & rubs his head. "Yes, just let him know I can come in & stay for 2 days, then go back, & then come back to California after the baby is born." Adam says. "Yeah I'll let him know Adam, thanks a lot for letting me know about that. See you when you get to California." Joel says. "Yeah, see you their. Hang on before one of us hangs up could you tell me where in California you want me to be?" Adam asks. "You should already know the answer Adam. Los Angeles. See ya. Bye." Joel says. "See ya. Bye." Adam says as he hangs up, opens the door to his room, & finds you looking up at him arms crossed.

"Shit. You heard everything I said right?" Adam asks as you nod. "So, your leaving." You say. "Babe, it's only for two days. I'm going to Los Angeles California & then I'll be back. Trust me, I will be their by your side in the hospital when you give birth to our baby girl. I promise you babe." Adam says. "Ok, just be careful. & good luck. You need any help packing?" You ask. "I'd appreciate it if you could help, yeah." Adam says. "Alright. I'll start getting stuff ready for the days your gone." You say. "Thanks babe." Adam says as you smile & start grabbing pairs of clothes out of his closet drawers.

Once you finish getting his clothes all together & he checked them & gave you a thumbs up you set them all in his suitcase that he brought over & sat on his bed.
"Alright, you can do the rest. Your welcome." You say. "Thanks. See you... In two days." Adam says. "See you in two days." You reply back. "If plans change I'll let you know. But I promise I will be back in time to see our baby girl." Adam says. "Alright. Well you don't leave until tomorrow night right?" You ask. "Yeah I'm not going anywhere until tomorrow night, correct." Adam says. "Maybe one last moment before you leave & the baby is born?" You ask. "Are you sure you wanna do this while your pregnant?" Adam asks. "Of course. I'll try not to be on all fours or bend." You say as Adam smiles & removes his shirt. You do the same once he takes off his leaving your bra on.

"Easy now, don't want make her come early." Adam says as you roll your eyes & smile. "Oh, relax. Get on, all fours..." You say as he smirks at you & gets on the bed on all fours.
As he does you crawl your body under & pull him down lightly pressing on your bump.

You pulled him in for a kiss & he accepted your request kissing you until you felt a shiver run through your veins.
You wanted him to stop but at the same time you wanted him to continue so you just told him to do what he does best & he did.

He got off of you & got on his knees on the bed & laid his head on your chest & held his hands on not just your own heart that was beating like a running cheetah but your baby girls as well. Feeling his hand on your heart & hers you swear you felt the beats go through Adam & into you.
You could feel her heart beating softly. Suddenly at the point you put your finger in front of your mouth & kept it there.

Adam saw & felt what you were feeling so he remained quiet until you removed your finger & Adam moved himself next to you stopping himself from doing what he was doing to you.
"Could you feel her... Her heartbeat... I felt it through my body." You say quietly & surprised. "I felt it too... She's so at ease. Around this time during pregnancy for most people they would be kicking & begging to come out. But apparently either were not at that stage yet that I thought we were or she is just gonna be a very calm baby girl when she meets us on the side we are on." Adam says. "Adam, you are gonna be a great father." You say. "I know I am babe, & I know your gonna be a good mother as you were a good bride." Adam says as you smile & almost tear up but you keep the tears away.

Come on, get your shirt back on, I wanna show you something downstairs in the backyard." Adam says. "In the backyard? Why in the backyard?" You say. "Just come down & come outside when you have it back on, I'll put mine on as well." Adam says as you nod, put your shirt back on, watched Adam put his back on, & followed him downstairs into the backyard, walked down the steps from the porch, & sat, apparently in the grass with Adam.

"Adam what are you trying to show me?" You ask giggling a little. "Lay back & look up." Adam says as you do as he asked & looked up at the blue sky filled with clouds to see clouds designed as things you remember from your childhood or random other things.
"Adam, look at this... It's amazing..." You say. "Come on, there's one last thing I wanted to show you. Come over into the shed & once I open the door cover your eyes alright?" Adam says. "Alright." You say as you get up from laying in the grass, walk over to the shed with Adam, & cover your eyes once he opens the door.

Once you heard the wood like door hit the side of it Adam told you to open your eyes so you opened your eyes to find the shed lit up with fairy lights & LED lights & blankets rested over the floor & one side had a small butterfly chair while the other side had a small shelf filled with books & other things.

"Come on, come sit down. I wanna talk to you more. Not about Josh, he's out of the picture frame for good now. It's about when I leave tomorrow night & about you being here alone & it's also about the birth of our child." Adam says as you nod & sit down on the blanket that was sitting on the floor of the shed.
