...maybe your worst. Make her listen."

Edrics eyes went wide. There was no way he was hearing this right... right?

"What..?" Even Alador sounded appalled by the idea of giving her his worst. "Odalia you know I couldn't possibly be that harsh. Sure she needs to listen, but she's... she's still my daughter. My youngest at that."

Edrics mind was in a world of its own. Was he hearing this correctly? His father for once feeling remorse for the harm he has possessed upon his youngest daughter? N-No... It should be the other way around, right? Maybe he wasn't hearing it correctly.

Getting up from his spot on his bed, he quietly went invisible under his illusion magic and kept a copy of him on his bed. Emira noticed this but didn't move enough to care.

She didn't care about anything at all anymore, really.

As Edric walked into a closer distance, he stood outside of his parents door as he put his ear up against it, getting the most out of this conversation as he could. The best info he could gather.

"I don't care, Alador. If she wants to be a brat, make her learn. She is a Blight for titan's sake. Should you really care?"

"O-Of course not, but-"

"Then do it, Alador. Make her understand. And bring her back. In. One. Piece.

...Understood?" Odalia's voice spat out as if it were venom. With the sudden sound of a snap from her fingers, their conversation went quiet.

'What the hell is going on in there?' Is all Edric could think. If only he could see through doors...

"Yes, dear. I will bring her back no matter what it takes. She is a Blight. Her feelings don't matter. Thank you for making me understand." Alador finally spoke up, his voice more monotone than anything.

'Wait, what? But he just said that it didn't matter, and that she was his youngest and-' Thought Edric as his mind was spinning in circles and circles. He kept trying to piece something together until his thoughts were immediately interrupted.

"Mmm... thank you, dearest. I knew I could count on you one hundred percent." Odalia said in a humble tone, clearly happy that her husband had suddenly went to abide by her request.

There was no way... she...

she must have used a spell...

Alador was completely wrapped around Odalia's fingers.

"No... nonono this isn't right. I-I.. there's just no way that-" Edric said in a panic, his heart racing.

"It is, Edric.

I'm sorry." Sang a voice behind him, only to see Emira in her invisible form as well, keeping them both hidden if their parents were to open the door right now, but she was a bit a ways down the hall.

"You... you!" Edric felt some sort of hatred grow inside of him when he hear his sister speak, his best friend.

"You did this, didn't you? You had mom do this to him! To him and Amity! Why do you keep being like this- that's our baby sister, damnit, we should be protecting her!"
