She gulped, she wasn't expecting him to say something like that. A vampire of all things? Despite that she still nodded as the grip on her wrist loosen letting her hold her journal tight "Since you introduced yourself, let me do too. I'm (Y/N) (L/N)," the aura between them slightly changed, the suspicion slightly vanishing; for some reason, (Y/N) felt as if he was telling the truth. She found that fact uncanny but right now, she can't fully trust him yet.
"About the tea?" Victor brought up again "Oh! Right..uhm..yes please," she stuttered gripping her journal.
"I'm not here to bring any harm, I promise.." leaning forward his gloved hand moved some of her hair away from her face, her (E/C) eyes beamed with the moon's glow which looked so elegant in his point of view. "I promise you are safe here," he added before heading towards the dining room with Wick not to far from him like a tail as he motioned (Y/N) to follow.
The scene played again in (Y/N)'s head, the feeling of his gloved hand having in contact with her cheek replayed making her blush (bringing her notebook up to her face in attempts to hide it). Up close his eyes glowed, in all seriousness, it truly shined which obviously seem inhuman; thinking it was just her mind playing mind games with her she brushed it off.
"Maybe his a vampire-? No no no! There is no such things as vampires or werewolves or whatever, they are fiction! It can't be true-"
"(Y/N)?"She jolted back into reality as Victor calmly called her name, handing her a cup of newly brewed tea (Y/N) held it with a muttered 'thank you'. She took a seat on a near-by chair before feeling an animal brush up against their ankle, only to meet the same dog Victor was holding. "His name is Wick," Victor informed as (Y/N) gave him a pat and a smile.
For an abandon castle, it was surprisingly not haphazard as she expected "Does he live here? Why is it clean? Did he clean everything? Impossible for one person..." she thought deeper taking a sip of her tea "One person..Is Victor the only resident in this castle?" More and more question came but no answers followed leaving her clueless, the fact that Victor being in a castle that is meant to be deserted itself is uncanny as it is.

After finishing her beverage, a yawn escaped her lips, noticing this Victor offered her to stay in for the night; rubbing the tear away from her eye she slightly nodded, a good night sleep is indeed the best option for her. Each step she took in the quiet corridors made her drowsy with Victor holding her hand to keep her steady from her tiredness as he lead her to a vacant room. Opening the door he watched (Y/N) fall over the soft twin bed with only the moonlight the source of light in the room.
Being overcome by lassitude, only her upper body was on the bed as she traveled away from reality. "Woof!"
Wick endeavoured to help (Y/N) get on the bed properly only to no avail, Victor carried (Y/N) and tucked her in. Though he lived longer than she had, the feeling he had met her before won't get off his system, from the moment he saw her (E/C) eyes he felt it.. more or less, it felt déjà vu for him.
He just sat on the side of the bed, watching her slow breaths as she slept while he caressed her cheek. His entire body told him to protect her and not let her out of his sight again, he theorized it is related to him feeling the sense of déjà vu when they met.
Whatever it meant, he decided to follow the strange feeling towards (Y/N). Seeing her peacefully sleep made him delighted, as he was about to leave the room someone yanked his sleeve almost making him trip. Shocked, he saw (Y/N) still in deep slumber except her face was now exchanged with fear as she lightly whispered "Please..Victor..don't go.."
He wasn't sure what she was dreaming but all he had was his thoughts, he grabbed her hand and place it back to the back and kissed her forehead. He doesn't know why be did that but the little peck did the trick, her once scared expression became one with restful.
