They stood over 200-300 feet away.
They could see his figure, not the things he had been holding compactly in his head. The bleachers were right to his left, the tunnel was just there.
He was only 10 feet away, it would take 1 quick sprint amongst the smoke to escape. All he had to do was execute this smoothly...
"Begin!"
Toya took a deep breath in and released the largest blast of flames from all around, it burned, he could feel his skin curl but this was what had to be done.
He let out a scream and pressed the button to the bag.
It was no longer compact and it disintegrated into what looked like human ashes. At the same time the smoke bomb went off and the tracker was destroyed.
He made a run for it, ran right to the bleachers, and grabbed the bag he left prepared.
He crawled through the tunnel and made it to the room he knew would be there. The superiors only heard a scream amongst the large raging flames, they could see Toya running out.
Toya quickly ran through the door in the room of the tunnel and found himself staring at a practically never-ending hallway.
But he had no time to waste. He sprinted like he never had before, surpassing his usual speed.
After 10 minutes of pure running, he made it to the end of the hall where he found the door.It wasn't guarded either, the superiors never expected this to happen.
They usually never let the students go outside. The outside was only ever used for tests like Toya's.Toya shot out the door and just kept running, never stopping.
Eventually, he passed out in a city alleyway, he had gotten far from the commission. He slept there for a while, unnoticed.
When he woke back up again he got to work.He had to survive, he was on his own now...
"I'm sorry twerp and Hawks...
This is just how it's going to have to be.
I'll come back for you all and burn the commission to ashes when I'm ready"Toya opened up the bag he had prepared.
In it were the hair dye, some clothes, and the disgusting thing they called food."I'll have to steal money to survive.
Maybe I can live in a forest, I heard some people use cabins.
I could steal a cabin, burn whoever's inside, and keep it for myself...
Yeah.That works just fine..."
Flash end-
"That's pretty much what happened" Dabi sighed as he finished explaining.
Midoriya stared wide-eyed at him, that was a pretty good plan but it required quite a lot of resolve due to the amount of pain.
Not to mention was very risky."How is Hawks...?
How did he react when I was gone..?" Dabi asked."He held back tears but it was obvious he couldn't.
I heard him crying while trying to go to sleep and he was no longer as happy as he used to be."Dabi hummed in response, "And what about you, twerp?"
"I lost my ability to cry.
But I did something...
I cut the tap wire that usually listened in and stabbed the chip out of my arm"Dabi's eyes widened more than Midoriya's, "did you get caught...??"
"No, they didn't notice and I always kept the chip in a pocket."
"Looks like we both escaped that hell hole huh?
You got a plan to expose them yet or Nah?""I have a plan.
However, there are some things that have to be done before that.
I'll make a mental list later to make sure I don't mix things up"
