Chapter 39: The Beginning

"You guys are hiding something," Seungkwan eyed us even more. I'm quite afraid that Yeoreum might notice.

We remained silent, and glad that Jisoo and Seokmin came. They caught Hansol's attention, and do so Seungkwan after turning its head on them. Jisoo and Seokmin came to school holding each other's hands.

Damn that was fast.

"I never knew that it will turn out like this that fast," I heard Jihoon, staring at those two, catching everyone's attention.

"How I wish we can be so open like them," Seungcheol whispered right on my ear. I smiled a bit at him. "We'll get there, soon." I whispered back so no one could hear.

But then, the whispers about Jisoo and Seokmin were interrupted by Mr Nam's appearance. The bell hasn't rung yet?

His eyes immediately landed on me, and I can literally see in the corner of my eyes that Seungcheol is already giving him death glares.

"Good morning everyone," Mr Nam greeted. "Today, I just want to congratulate Mr Yoon for a successful Music Fest last friday." Mr Nam clapped and do so my classmates. I'm kinda getting flustered by his compliments but the creepy feeling he's giving is still here.

"I hope you would run again," Mr Nam smiled so sweetly at me and I can feel Seungcheol's hand on mine. He intertwined our hands. He's holding it tight as if he's controlling his anger.

Controlling his anger?

I looked at him and he's definitely glaring at Mr Nam. I pinched his thigh to signal him to stop it because Mr Nam might notice.

"I would like Mr Yoon to come here in front to give a special thank you message to your classmates," I walked up to the front and he immediately touched my shoulder as soon as I went to the front. It's giving me creepy chills.

"I just want to say thank you to everyone who participated for the Music Fest. I know, this is a farewell for my retirement as the Student Council President, but I also hope that the new Student Council President will do much better than what I did. Thank you." I said and bows in front of everyone.

Mr Nam keeps on touching my arm and shoulders, which gives me chills. I tried to stood still and maintain my position. Junhui looks kinda worried, Seungkwan too.

After some speeches and few touches from Mr Nam, he ordered me to sit down already and I almost let out the heaviest sigh of relief I have when he ordered me to sit down.

Seungcheol's eyes darkened.

It's already lunch break now. Seungcheol didn't talk to me. He seems to be in the bad mood so I decided not to bother him for a while.

All of us gathered in the same table at the cafeteria. Everything seems awkward to me and I keep on stealing glances on Seungcheol who's been so quiet ever since we got here.

We're sitting facing each other, and the others are doing some lovey-dovey while both of us here feels so awkward, or it's just me who's awkward? I don't know anymore.

"Yah! When did you two started to go out?" Seungkwan asked, talking to Jisoo and Seokmin. They immediately caught my attention and I got intrigued.

"Last saturday," Jisoo was the one who answered and proudly wrapped his arms around Seokmin. I raised my eyebrows.

"That was fast, huh?" Jihoon smirked but Jisoo smirked even more.

"I guess that's what happens when you realized that if it's not for you, there's something more that awaits you." From smirk turned into a sweet smile and even looked at Seokmin with love filled in his eyes.
