Brooke nearly panicked, shaking her head and hands quickly. "No, it's not that. I do love Connor, but I fear he might not fully understand the words since sometimes he has lapses of struggling with his emotions."

"I understand," she replied. "I am sure he does love you, maybe bring it up with him, see what emotions and feelings he does understand." Brooke nodded in agreement, it might be a good idea to try and see if she gets anywhere with it. "I do have one more question, if you don't mind?"

"Not at all," Brooke said with a smile. Lara looked at Connor, a small smirk in the corner of her lips.

"Is it true about androids and their... abilities in the bedroom?" Brooke chuckled at the question, she hummed at the countless times she and Connor had, had sex. He definitely performs much better than all her previous sexual encounters, and he is designed to last much longer than a  human male.

"Yes, in all ways. Connor is... something else in the bedroom. And... a utility cupboard." Lara could be heard gasping next to her.

"What... really?" she asked in shock. Brooke nodded.

"At work," she slowly added. Lara looked at her and then at Connor who was approaching them, she doubled over giggling, trying to hold back the hysterics.

"What are you both talking about?" Connor asks as he comes to stand next to Brooke, she looks at Lara to answer the question, but the woman was too busy trying to hide her shit-eating grin.

"Nothing important, Romeo," she says with another laugh. Brooke chuckled as she looked at Connor's confused glare, he smiled at them both, but he didn't know why he was. "We need to prepare for the conference, it starts soon," Lara adds as she gets her composer, she leaves Brooke and Connor for the moment.

"What exactly was she laughing about? And Romeo?" Brooke giggled again, she placed her hand on his arm.

"She just wanted to know if the rumours about androids and their bedroom performances are true." Connor looked at her in pure shock, glanced at his feet as he gulped heavily.

"What- What did you tell her?" he nervously asked. Brooke smiled deviously at him before replying.

"Just how they are all true, from the bed to a storage cupboard," she whispered. Connor shook his head in amusement, he was about to reply but Lara had returned with Clarke, them both looking serious at them.

"It is time," Clarke said, he led them back out of the room, the three androids followed Lara as they all walked single file to the conference room. Connor was able to look through the double glass doors, there was a small stand that had been temporarily out there and the room had around sixty people from journalists to what looked like professionals of a scientific background.

"Are you both ready?" Lara asked with a smile, Brooke nodded, but Connor stood back more reserved, worried about what was about to unfold. It was too late to turn back now, the side doors opened and Clarke walked out with Lara close behind, Brooke had to pull Connor out, but they stopped just behind the platform, Clarke had to announce them both first.

"It will be okay," Brooke whispered to Connor, he nodded but was barely convinced.

"Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. I have called you all here today for some important news regarding the disruptions between androids and humans." Instantly news reporters started to haul questions at Clarke, shouting to get his attention. "Please, settle down," he shouted over them all, his microphone giving him the advantage of being louder than them all. They all sat back down, must unhappy to not have their questions answered.

He continued, "we have invited an android and his human partner all the way from the city of Detroit in America. They have come to help with android freedoms and relations with humans. Connor is the prototype of the RK800 series, one of the most technologically advanced androids ever created by Cyberlife. The once deviant hunter now stands by his own people... free." Clarke looked away from the crowd in front of him and nodded slightly to Lara to send them both up. "Please welcome Connor Anderson and Brooke Quinn."
