Laurence X Mermaid Reader

I bowed down, and he placed it on my head. The merpeople started cheering, whistling, and clapping.

Months have passed, and things have turned out great, but something bad happend. Being a queen, means your powerful and all, and that your one of the most magical beings, second on the elves.

While I was preparing for the upcoming festival, A wave of pain came through my head, I swim back a bit. The guards and some maids, look at me worried. The guards came to me.

"My queen, Is there something wrong?" He asked.

"No, no I'm fine. Just tired. Please excuse me for a momment." I then started swimming to my room. And in that room, theres a secret passage and only I and the pass Kings and Queens know. I swam until I reach a room, with a couldron in the middle. I swam towards it, and chanted a spell. The couldron, started changing colors.

The couldron, showed me something that should have been gone for centuries and more. It was the shadow knights, How are they up here?!

I used another spell, to contact a fellow elven king. He also said that he has been seeing a few shadow Knights, lurking and walking around as if they are just normal humans, blending in.

This is not the only problem. Since the shadow Knights has been showing up, Pirates has also came back. They destroyed and wreck other humans ship and boats, the travelers would sink in the ocean along with the ship. My people would have to save the humans, and put them on the nearest island.

Things have been growing out of control, because of the shadow Knights. It's my job to save those people above the sea.

I have talked to the High mermaids, and agreed on my decision, it may sound stupid and clearly not quite a good plan, but it's for the better. The only thing I could do. Is bring those pirate ships down.

Some of my guards, has been scouting the sea beds, looking for any new sunken ships. While he was scouting a big ship was above him. He swimmed up, and looked at the ship, and it was pirates. He swims a bit closer to the ship and saw an incoming ship too, not too big just enough for a few people to fit in. My guard Quickly swimmed faster to the kingdom, opening the big doors and made a big 'bang' sound that got my attention.

"My Queen! Pirates near at the floating village! They are heading to a small boat, I think they are planning to crash into that boat my queen!" He said trying to catch his breath.

I stand up on my thrown, and gathered some few guards and some of our beautiful mermaids.

We all swimmed faster, and are behind the pirates ship. I saw a rock where I can sit on. My followers, nodded they're heads signaling me that they are ready.

Two of my guards swimmed towards the small boat and warned them, about what is going to happen. I got on the rock and readed my voice, I sighed and started singing, its a song.. A forbidden song, this song can make any humans who hears this drown. And I'm using this to the pirates, this pirates have not done good but evil, the more ships have sunken the more corals have been destroyed because of the sunken ship, and humans and travelers have been drowing because of them.

As I started singing, the pirates ship stopped, the pirates looked around and tried to find my voice. Then my mermaids, hummed near the ship to catch the pirates attention. The pirates turned to them, smiling and all, looking like a drunken man.

They walked closer to the edge of the boat, I lifted some of the water for my mermaids to come closer to the pirates, and touched they're cheeks. The water surrounded the sides of the ship, the guards are under the water preparing to strike.

I'm finally done to the song. With its last sentence.

After that, the mermaids pulled the pirates deep into the water. My guards started stabbing and attacking the drowning pirates. While they are doing those, I got off the rock and swimmed towards the small boat. To check on the humans, when I got there I saw a knight with his golden and ocean blue eyes and with someone turning his back on me.

The gold hair man, backed away for a bit but saw my crown, he then kneeled down to me. The brown haired man turns around, with his baby blue eyes. When I finally got a look of him, my eyes opened wide.

It, it can't be him! I shouted into my head. The man looks at me with wide eyes. He kneels down closer to the edge of the boat.

"Y/n?" He said. I flinched when I heard his voice, its been such a long time since I last saw him.
