(Formed Voltron)

We flew towards Central Command, only to be surrounded by some sort of force field.
"What is that?" Asked Hunk.
Pidge popped up on my video transmission, "I don't know, but I hope once we get the Princess and Y/N we can find a way out of here. They're going to fire!" She yelled staring at the battle cruisers.
Lasers shot from at least five cruisers, and we maneuvered our way through them carefully.
"Form sword!" Yelled Shiro.
I smashed my bayard into the compartment and formed a sword, slashing through an entire ship. We heard loud explosions behind us and made our way to the command ship.
"More trouble," Mentioned Lance, "Straight ahead!"
Great. More battle cruisers.
"Form shoulder cannon!" Commanded Shiro.
We formed the cannon and destroyed every cruiser, making a clear path to Zarkon's ship. We slowly started to charge the sword at the ship, but were abruptly stopped.
"What's going on?!" Asked Hunk.
I grunted, "We lost the sword! Something's malfunctioning!"
"Somebody do something!" Yelled Lance, "Voltron's frozen up!"
I shook my head, "Shiro!"
"I-I can't hold it!" He explained.
A bright light began to shine from Voltron's core and we were forced apart.
"What just happened there?" Asked Hunk wearily, "Something tore us apart!"
"I don't know," Answered Lance, "But we've got bigger problems right now. Look!"
I looked out of my lion to see over 50 ships and dozens of fighters.
"Why do I get the feeling these guys knew we were coming?" I asked sarcastically.
We flew away from Zarkon's ship and we fired at anything in sight.
Hunk groaned, "There's no end to these guys!"
Suddenly, a giant laser fired at one of the cruisers and we turned to see the Castle coming towards us.
"Coran attack!" Yelled Coran, "I've waited ten thousand years for this!"
We cheered and continued to fire. I flew closer to Zarkon's ship and noticed the Black Lion being drawn into the ship by a beam.
"Shiro, are you okay?!" I asked.
He grunted in frustration, "Something is overriding the controls! My lion isn't responding!"
"Shiro's in trouble!" I explained to the rest of the group, "I'm going in!"
I heard one last shout from Shiro and watched as he was ejected into space, struggling to activate his thrusters.
"What do we do now guys?" Asked Hunk through the transmission, "Our plan isn't really working out as... well, planned!"
"I'm going for the Black Lion." Began Shiro through the transmission, "You guys get the girls, now!"
"I've identified Allura's exact location." Said Coran, "Unfortunately Y/N's location is still unidentifiable. Uploading the coordinates to you now. In the meantime, I'll provide covering fire from out here, all alone, against an entire fleet. So, um, yeah, do you mind hurrying?"
"My jetpack's damaged." Continued Shiro, "I'll need to go through the ship."

I weaved through heavy fire and fighters making my way to Central Command.
"You guys get the Princess without me." I said.
"What?" Asked Lance, "We've got to stick together! What are you doing?"
"Whatever I can. Maybe Y/N is somewhere with Zarkon, and if she is, Shiro needs to be able to find her."
I flew straight into the Black Lion, pushing it away from the beam. Then, out of nowhere, some man flew right next to the Black Lion.
"Whoa! Who is that?" I asked.
After a moment of silence, Coran gave me the one answer I didn't want to hear, "It's Zarkon! Keith, get out of there, now! Zarkon's too powerful!"
I shook my head, "This is my chance to put an end to the Galra Empire! I have to take it!"
I flew Red closer to Zarkon and shot a laser straight at him. Once the dust cleared, Zarkon was completely fine. I felt something hit the side of my lion and looked down to see Zarkon had shot some sort of laser at me. I turned Red back around to face Zarkon and fired. Yet again, Zarkon used his shield to protect himself. I grunted and sat my lion down on the ship. After an intense battle between Zarkon and my lion, I was finally knocked down. Alarms began to blare and I looked over to see Zarkon shooting at me. I quickly moved Red and dodged the attack.
"Keith!" I heard Coran yell, "Get out of there!"
Zarkon attacked again and I had about had it.
"Keith, do you copy?!" Continued Coran, "You don't know what you're dealing with! He's too powerful! Listen to me, it's imperative that you don't engage the—"
I rolled my eyes and turned off my transmission, cutting out Coran. I flew at Zarkon again and dodged his attacks, only to be brought in by his weapon. It had to have been a bayard. It changed forms at least five times now. I looked out of my lion to see Zarkon coming at me. I took a deep, shaky breath, pulled my controls back, and fired a giant cannon that had appeared on top of Red. I continued to fire at Zarkon and watched as he approached my lion.
"You fight like a Galra soldier." He began, "But not for long!"
His bayard changed forms again and he smashed it into my lion, knocking me down. While Red was down, he changed his bayard again into a giant sword and began to approach me.
"Come on!" I yelled to Red moving my controls, "Come on!"
A bright light emitted from beside me and I looked over to see the Black Lion shooting at Zarkon. Shiro scooped me up and started to bring me back to the Castle.
"I got you buddy." He said.

As we entered the wormhole, sparks began to fly from everywhere.
"Coran, what's happening?" Asked Shiro through the coms.
"It's breaking down!" He responded.
"What does that mean?" Asked Lance concerned.
"It means we have no control over where we're headed!"
As if on cue, the Red and Black lion were shaken out of the Castle, and we exited a side of the wormhole. I never even got to see if Y/N was okay. I don't even know if she made it into the Castle.
