Chapter 6

You directed a pointed glare, an offended aura dripping off of you. "I'll have you know, I'm a Luna kinnie. Dark, mysterious, smart, a princess, and a bad bitch that could cut you."

Satori snorted. "Pssssh, as if!"

"And you're one to talk, Pinkie Pie ."

An unearthly, high-pitched screech emitted from the boy as he shot off your torso, sitting over you on his knees. "WHAT?!"

The corners of your lips curled, your brows drawing lower. "Ohhhhh yeah. You fit Pinky Pie to a T, Charming."

"HOW?!"

"You literally show up uninvited to places and pester people! You bounce off the walls! You're the poster child for ADHD!" You exclaimed, shifting your position on the bed to sit up.

His face was bright red. "You're so wrong," he said loudly, an utter offence on his tone. "I'm Rainbow Dash, through and through. Hot as shit, cooler than everyone." He shook his head, and with an exasperated scoff, he leaned down, arms on either side of you. " Dominant. " He smirked with the last word, eyes turning dark.

You grabbed his arms from where they were by your head and pushed with all of your might to get him off, successfully flipping your positions. You now held his wrists up by his temples, legs straddling his waist.

Surprise flashed within his face. If his face was akin to a tomato before, surely every ounce of blood had rushed to his face to turn him into mars. His mouth was suddenly dry. He opened his mouth, stuttering out a reply.

"T-thought we weren't fooling around?" he squeaked.

"Thought you were dominant?" You leaned down close to him, inches away from the soft skin you craved to connect to. "Well, what are you waiting for? Dominate."

"I'm honestly losing my shit right now." His voice was nothing more than a whisper. Your noses brushed, and the air became thick and heavy around the two of you. What Satori didn't know was that you were internally screaming. Your hands felt shaky, and your stomach was in so many knots that you didn't know if it was possible for all of them to be undone.

But below the nervousness, the heated cheeks, the coy smiles, the butterflies and the hands of earthquakes; below all of that, there had been an ignition. A flame set alight by the boy you thought you couldn't stand. The boy that you had grown to care for. The boy you had become roommates with for the last week. Your entire being felt on fire, and the only antidote to cool you down was the indulgence of him .

Time seemed too slow, and there was a hesitancy between the two of you. Both of you were reluctant to make the first move, and a stand off had begun. You just stared at each other, eyes bouncing between eyes, lips, cheeks, and then back to lips. It felt like an eternity. Who would cave? Who would break the line? Who would be the one to initiate contact?

It was you, letting your mouth drop a few centimetres to meet his. He embraced it quickly, pulling his trapped hands from your loose grip. His hands landed on your hips, and you let your body sink into his. Your legs actually tightened around his waist, trying to bring the two of you closer. He took your bottom lip in his teeth, nose pressing against yours almost uncomfortably.

Your hands tangled in his hair and he tried to muffle a moan as your fingers caught and tugged on a small knot in the twists they made. You took that as a cue to tug a little bit more, trying to induce another sound from his mouth. It worked, the vibrations of his low voice rattling your core, and you smirked against his lips. His hands danced at the base of your sweater, as if requesting permission to move past just the base. You nodded, and he took the acceptance with eagerness, hands excitedly moving up the skin of your back. You rolled your hips down onto his gently and he groaned loudly, pulling you down farther.
