I pop the lid off the potion bottle, and quickly guzzle it down, and slowly start approaching the dragon. She immediately noticed me, and her eyes locked mine. Since we both had a strong connection, she let me close, yet still kept her guard up. I was about a meter away before she started growling at me, like she did the others.
"Shhh... hey, it's just me." I say, holding out my hand.
"Careful dad." Elie whispered, standing back, along with the guards.
I stay quiet, scared for if I made too loud of a noise, that she'd set- not just me, but the whole castle- ablaze. I tried to stay as slow, quiet, and calm as possible. She sniffed my hand for a bit before allowing me to stroke her smooth scales.
"Is there a reason you're all grumpy and setting things on fire?" I ask.
She slowly uncovered her wings to reveal a small, black egg. An ender dragon egg! Now it makes sense why she tried to attack the people that came up to her! She thought they were going to hurt her baby.
Dragons are very protective creatures. So if say two doctors try and randomly approach her, and her baby dragon, she's going to get a little defensive. In this situation, her behavior is quite normal for seeing people who don't hold her trust.
I slowly turn back to the doctors, slightly ticked off, "Did anybody try to check her symptoms? Super protective, not leaving this one spot to do anything, even to eat, or fly around the end?" I say, trying to hint the fact that she had laid a little dragon egg.
It seems everyone else in the room got the hint besides the dragon expert, and doctor. Elie sighed and said, "She laid a dragon egg people, and she trusts none of ya."
Their eyes widened, and then they seemed to have then pieced together the signs.
"In retrospect, I now see how we should've thought of that..." The doctor said.
Stella picked up the bucket of popped chores fruit, and walked over to the ender dragon. She gave her a few pieces of fruit, before petting her head.
"Well, now that we know, her egg needs to be taken care of 24/7, along with her." She said, letting the dragon lie on her lap.
They nod, "We will try to take care of the dragon, and her egg, as best as we can when you three are busy."
She looked like she was about to say something in return, but her expression changed in less than a second. Her hand went to her forehead, and she looked to be in quite a bit of pain. I kneel down next to her.
"Honey? Are you okay?" I ask, quite concerned.
She nodded, "Y-Yeah, I'm fine. My head just hurts... a lot..." She said uncomfortably.
"Hm... Well, it's getting late, and you had a long day of traveling yesterday. Maybe you're tired?" I suggest, holding her face.
"But shouldn't we go back? What if they need us dad?" Elie started asking.
"If General Amelia needs us, she can call us through an ender eye. Plus, we need to prepare our own forces before we can completely help her." I say. "And we can do that in the morning honey. We all need rest."

(Clover's POV:)I was sitting in a chorus fruit tree, peering in through the windows of my daughter, and her precious husband's room. I was thankfully hidden by a invisibility potion, so they couldn't see me like she almost did earlier.
The two talked for what felt like centuries, and at this point, I was scared I'd run out of invisibility potions! But, her husband, Rain, started closing the curtains to their windows before the lights turned off. That was just in time too! My third and final potion was on its last few seconds of effectiveness!
Carefully, I climbed on the large branches of the chorus fruit tree, and walked all the way to a small balcony, and peeked inside through the door. The two were curled up in their beds, fast asleep.
Before I opened the door, I hear a small noise coming from behind me.
Ribit!
I turn to see a small ender frog behind me. How did it end up here? A simple frog can't travel between dimensions? I pick up the frog and inspect him,
"How did you get all the way out here?" I ask, before shrugging my shoulders, "Eh, your a tough little guy. Maybe you should come with me?" I said, placing him on my left shoulder.
You forgive me already? I hear a familiar voice say, I summon my sword.
"Lance... where are you you son of a-" I was saying before the frog hopped off my shoulder.
He slowly grew, and turned into the form of an average highly human! Black hair grew from his head, and his skin turned pale. He wore a very dark purple suit with silver accents, and on his hands were elegant white gloves.
The frog went from a kinda cute little guy, to Lance! The rouge mage!
My blood began to boil as I charged him. I was about to strike him down, when he used magic to pick me up, and flipped me over him.
"My, my, my. You haven't changed at all throughout the years." He said, holding my chin with his hand.
I growled, "I see you're still your same old brash, and flamboyant man I met almost forty years ago." I say in my usual rude tone.
He smiled, "Why, thank you for the compliments!" I roll my eyes.
"How did you get here? The end was closed off to your magic!"
"Well, I was just taking my normal midday nap in my palace, when all of a sudden, someone picked up my cape and knocked me onto the floor!" He said, his eyes narrowing. "Then I just hopped into said persons luggage and zip zap zoop, I'm back in the end, and want my revenge on it." He said.
"What makes you think I'll let you help me? Especially after all that you did! You abandoned me and ruined our plan to get on top!" I say, trying to prevent myself from shouting.
He smirked, "Because, how do you expect to open the dream realm without my help?"
I shut up, and pondered for a minute.
Sure, I'm strong! But I have absolutely no idea how to even open the realm! I just kinda hoped that the book had some instructions...
"Damnit..." I whisper under my breath, "Fine. But you have to follow my lead or we'll get caught."
He smirked, and let go of me, "Let's go then."
We both walked up to the door. I held my hand over the lock, and used a simple spell to unlock it. Before we walk in, I put a finger over my mouth,
"If they wake up, our heads or going to be on a silver platter. So you mess up, your on your own Lance." I whisper to him.
"Got it..." He mumbled.
We walk in, and I immediately open the spell book, and read through the ancient text. Lance on the other hand was standing over Stella, watching it sleep. I rolled my eyes, and quietly cleared my throat to get his attention.
"Ahem."
He turned around, "So, what is your plan here?" Lance asked.
"Simple! Take him to the dream realm, kill him, she'll follow, kill her, then boom, we take over the End."
He paused to take it in, "Well... that's, not what I had in mind, but okay?"
There was a few more moments of silence, before he walked up to me, "Wait? You mean your going to kill the kid? Ruthless... I like it."
I smile evilly, and say, "Now come on, stance and sentence are needed." I whisper. "Let's take over the End!"
