Murderer of the Town of Aylesbury

"Enough of that."

His deep hoarse voice somehow made me flinch for a moment. For it never came to my mind that the Prince is young. It was always described back then how his appearance was terrifying. How his dangerous eyes can kill you in an instant. How his eerie voice won't make you sleep out of fear. We all thought he looks like a monster.

But even if his voice was different from what I expected, I still think of him as a monster. I know he's just like them. A royal family of monsters.  

"Let go of the chains." I can somehow feel his gaze staring down at me.

Lumaki ang mga mata ko kasabay ng mga singhap ng mga kawal dahil sa gulat.

"Mahal na Prinsipe! Hindi po puwede!" Sigaw ng isa sa mga kawal na kasama niya. "Mapapagalitan po tayo ng mahal na hari--"

"That's why I initially chose a few of you to come with me in secret tonight, didn't I?"

Rinig kong lunok ng isa sa mga kawal. "P-pero po--"

All the light from the knight's torches suddenly went out in a swift motion. Leaving all of us in a cold dark state once again. Making the moon's ray of white light from outside of my cage's window to hit my direction.

In between the strands of my hair, my eyes looked around and stopped to look at a black shadow from outside of my only window slowly crawl in like it has a life itself. Kita ko kaunti sa harap na halos napaatras ang paa ng mga kawal palayo sa Prinsipe na tanging kalahati lang ng katawan ang aking makita. 

Siya lamang ang nakaitim ang damit at itim na royal black boots. Kasali na nito ang makikitang itim na kapa na abot hanggang sahig. At ang mga kamay nito ay may suot na black gloves. Hindi ko na makita pa ang ibang detalye ng kanyang suot nang dahil sa dilim at pati na din sa biglang pagbitaw ng mga kawal na nakahawak sa aking mga chains kanina lang.

Nakahinga na din ako ng maluwag. Pero agad naman nawala ang magandang pakiramdam na 'yun nang dahan-dahan nang lumalapit sa akin ang gumagapang na maitim na anino. 

He's here to punish me for what I've done. If his father hadn't only done all of those terrifying things...I wouldn't have become like this. A killer without mercy.

Sa aking takot ay napahiga ako sa aking likod at mabilis napaatras palayo nito.

Bigla nalang din napasigaw ang dalawang kawal sa aking magkabilang gilid at umatras din palayo sa akin nang mabangga na ang aking likod sa malamig na dingding. With my legs trembling, I desperately tried standing up. Pero nang ako'y maabutan ng mas napabilis na paggapang na itim na anino ay agad akong pauntog na napa-upo muli bago napapikit ng mariin.

Nang walang nangyare ay pinakiramdam ko muna ang aking buong katawan ngunit hindi naman ako nakaramdam ng kahit anong sakit. He was only toying me...huh. What a sick joke.

As I could hear him and his long cape striding towards me, I slowly opened both my eyes and kept my head down. Seeing that the black shadow was slowly moving away from me. It was then going under the Prince's feet until it was completely gone. It looks like it was swallowed.

"Look at me, Astria." 

I almost looked at him out of shock. But I should've known...after all, he wouldn't have come here. Only a few of the royal family knows about me.

Of what I can do.

Kung hindi lang sana ako pinahanap, nahuli, at pinaaresto ng prinsipe. Besides, the day I'm going to be hanged will be in three days.

"I'm sure you know that I know that behind that long black hair covering your face is a dangerous being that killed a whole town."

It somehow triggered me.

No...now is not the right time. If he kills me, I'll make sure he's gonna die with me.

He moved closer to me then kneeled down with one leg. "Astria, murderer of the town of Aylesbury...I have a proposal for you." He took off one of his gloves.

He touched the bottom of my chin with his point finger before quickly raising it up for me to look at him in the eyes. The white ray of light that hit the side of his face truly did highlight how he looks like. He has jet black hair slicked back. Little strands of his hair fell down from his forehead. Matching his hypnotizing green eyes. Eyebrows thick enough. A sharp jaw along with his other sharp features. His glare was like an eyeing hawk. Ready to devour you if you will not obey.

I somehow feel like drowning. 

How they say that his dangerous eyes can kill you in an instant is actually real. Just in a different circumstance. How they say his eerie voice can make you not sleep at night but half of it is only true. His voice is not eerie yet it will definitely make you not sleep at night. We all thought he looks like a monster.

But he looks like a monster that fell down from heaven for me.

"What do you want from me?" I finally asked.

He stared at me for a long time before speaking.

"Be part of my secret organization. Be my commander."

The silence got louder as I did not answer. But I know he could tell that it stunned me and somehow was intrigued on what he else he has to say.

"An organization consists of handpicked skilled assassins with special abilities that will kill the King...my cowardly selfish father; on the day of his birthday. The one that ordered to kill your whole village. Isn't that why you killed the town of Aylesbury to get his attention?"

My eyes widen out of amusement. Didn't even cared how I may have looked like a maniac towards the knights who seem very surprised to the Prince's revelation.

He suddenly brushed his thumb now to my bottom lip. "But you caught my attention instead. So...what do you say?" He asked huskily as he stares down at my lips.

I thought he was some typical good boy Prince but I was wrong...and I like it.

A smirk slowly plastered across my lips as I stared seductively into his eyes. "Deal, your highness." I said breathily.

His lips then broke into a satisfying smile as he now stares deeply into my eyes. "Then, be ready, Darling.."
