"Kieran isn't being punished for the altercation with Taryn Pascal. She was warned and I will be visiting with her later today to discuss her punishment privately with Marlon, not that I have to explain myself to you."

Gabriel at my side just held my hand, analyze their every thought, they just don't want to lose Kieran... he said after some time and I had to agree with him I read the same things. "I offered Kieran a place because I will be asking him to become one of my Elders Mr. and Mrs. Ryan." Their eyes widened in shock, our Kieran? An Elder? "Gabriel will be personally training him along with my little brother Ben... as I said this isn't a discussion. He will remain here to the time being, you are welcomed to visit with him, as is he with your family. Kieran isn't being held prisoner." I said being honest; I really was considering Kieran, especially because when in human form, I couldn't track him by scent. He didn't give off the scent of being a shifter. Even though I could hear his wolf and knew he had one. He would make the perfect person to send in, to evaluate a situation without alerting any other shifter of his status. Gabriel and I both agreeing on that front.

"Quite frankly, I believe that the time to order him around and get him acclimated with your family has passed," Gabriel said dryly picking up where I left off. "I'm not quite sure why you would come here to discuss anything, granted he is your child, no one else on the island has offered him a place to stay as they are all afraid of him or believe that he poses some potential threat. I - we - do not believe that," I nodded in agreement, everyone here had an opinion on Kieran, half thought he was a lost cause, the other half didn't but still didn't want to offer him that helping hand he needed. We had. End of.

Sighing I thought of this from their point of view, "Could we see him?" Mrs. Ryan whispered again like we were going to refuse her seeing him. Listening to his thoughts, searching his mind, we'll be back, and then we can go see Oakley - yeah, let just to get the picture - his wolf said thinking of the picture of Oakley that I made for him.

"He's not home. He went back to the mountain to get some of his things," I answered to her great disappoint, but nodding she stood while Mr. Ryan seemed to be festering over this in his mind.

Sitting down, Tony? What is wrong? She questioned when he didn't stand with her, they should check with us, ask us before they made this kind of decision, maybe they should choose Connor instead, Gabriel cocked his head to the side, oh no, he's like my father, selfish bastard.  I rested back, fighting to keep my face blank; choose Connor? I almost snorted, remembering when Gabriel's brother Samuel offered to be one of my guards in California. But as my mind thought of it, I went off on a tangent, if Samuel was part of the Elders plot or Robert Delaney, why did he reject Jamie? Wouldn't it have made more sense to get closer to me by staying with Jamie?

"I'm not questioning you Luna, but do - I don't believe that Kieran is the right choice and as his parent-" his words pulled me from my thoughts but I didn't have time for this nor was I going to even give him a chance to finish his thoughts.

"I think you're mistaken about just what role you have right now. You let your son live on a mountain. You abandoned him, and he was bullied severely by your other son, the same son you think would-" I stopped before I gave way to my ability to read their minds, how does -  "The same one that has teased him relentlessly and you believe would just welcome him back into your home when his mate was injured. You don't question me. About anything. Period. You can leave now." I stood nodding to Noah who was waiting at the door.
