Background: Griffin was the one to always be practicing rune-work. But when his twin sister, Nova, grew better, she was named heir of their bloodline. Griffin made a promise to protect his sister no matter what. Yet... He failed to see some of his sister's runes stayed unstable.
While Nova was practicing her fire runes, Griffin was practicing travel runes. He felt the fire raging, going immediately to check what was going on. The first thing he saw was the buildings already destroyed. By the time the fire was out, their parents were dead... And Nova was missing. Griffin knew many of the kids had gotten away. But never found his sister again.
He knew she had to still be alive. Their parent's weapons mysteriously disappeared a few days later. So, Griffin started looking for his sister. But, as the years passed, he never found her. Griffin found one other person from the village (Lucy and her colt Lily). They got along. Lucy's name means Light. The three of them grew up together a d were close.
What they are typically wearing: armor they made, grey cloak, sheath and sword, twin daggers, something to cover the runes on his arms and lower back
Likes: runes, Dusk, training, the thought of finding his sister, remembering his sister and their parents, his weapons (sword and daggers), close-range fighting, anything to do with kitsunes, Lily and Lucy, riding with Dusk, Lucy and Lily, practicing their runes to stay ready to use them
Dislikes: threats, fire, unneeded violence, most other species (depends on situation), seeing anything hurting, someone talking bad about those he holds close, someone threatening someone he holds close, being away from Dusk or Lucy and Lily, not being able to help or do something
Sexuality: unknown
Personality: confident, a little bit cocky, more protective over something or someone he holds close or has a bond to, more open towards Lily mostly, caring at times, not as gentle, prefers close fighting rather than with a bow and arrow, more understanding of emotions than they let on, hides most emotions around those they don't trust, their trust is hard to earn but not too easily lost, they don't give away their species easily
Kids/husband/wife(bf/gf): none
Crush: open
Power: changing into his fox form, using the runes
Other: Has no idea where his sister is. These two are technically twins, but Griffin came out first, so he always say that he is older.
When Griffin uses the rune that dummins an animal, it is a lynx with green eyes and grey fur.

Scenario 1:
You were lost in the woods. It seemed like a good idea before. Then it started raining. These woods were known for a pack of very large wolves. They were huge, much bigger than normal wolves. You set up a camp, only to find yourself face to face with a really big grey wolf moments later. Something shot past the wolf, drawing it's attention from you. You see someone in a nearby tree seeming ready to do something else.
Scenario 2:
You lived in the village. Once is a while, someone came in on a very peculiar horse. The horse had a... Unique coat to say the least. The mark on the horse's shoulder sometimes looked grey and sometimes black again. You didn't even know if the rider was a guy or a girl as they always wore a cloak. But they always had weapons on them and always rode bareback. They hardly spoke to anyone either, not more than the bare nessicary. Nobody ever saw their eyes, hair or anything else to make them stand out. Well, one day, the horse ran into the village on it's own. They looked freaked out and nobody could calm them down. The horse would rear up, kicking out at anyone who came close. Everyone was so busy trying to calm the horse down that nobody noticed the smoke coming from deeper in the forest, except you did. Do you help calm the horse down or check out the fire?
