Chapter 5

She walked carefully to the land一not even minding how her dress had become more wet in process as the river hit the stone一splashing to her dress.

And there, she sat by the rock once she arrived一turning her gaze away from the sight of a boy, stabbing fishes innocently.

How could he stab so innocently?

'Guess this is what survival life looks like.' Sooner or later, she had to get used to it. But一not in a way where she had to kill animals in a ruthless way. A sneeze managed to escape一followed by shivers.

Her finger tips started to freeze, she quickly placed her fingers on her neck, searching for the warmth within.

Her stone e/c shifted from her fingers to the river一how it flowed well, falling on the edge of the cliff. The colour of clear blue started to shift to navy blue as the day slowly converted to night.

The sight was magnificent, she thanked her family for abandoning her in the forest in peculiar.

And finally, Y/n lifted her e/c orbs to gaze at the silver haired boy一"Razor?"

There was no one on the river.

Razor, whom accompanied her was no longer in the river, and the only thing she could see was how the water crashed to the stone. "...Razor?" She called once again, only to gain no response from the called boy. "Razor." This time, it was more stern.

Her heart paced faster, chest started to tighten as she stood up in anxiety. Where the hell did Razor go?

"This isn't funny, Razor. Stop joking." Even her demands gainned no response from him.

What happened? Did he drown himself? Could he swim?

She ran to the river on instinct, not even caring how her dress would be awfully wet. But which was more important? A wet dress or a boy whom accompanied her more? "Razor!" She yelled out loud, breath started to hitch as the water level raised the farther she walked.

Again, no response.

'Where did he go?'

Calm, Y/n.

Calm down.

Positive thinking, he could wander off somewhere else when she wasn't looking一'Is that his hood?'

Alright.

It's too impossible to calm down.

The hood laid between the stones, stuck in between. She tried her best to run as fast as possible, trying to defy the pressure that kept going higher. Now, her face turned pale as her butterflies tried to escape from her stomach. "Ra..Razor!!" Even her voice wavered.

Y/n's eyes paced around so quickly, unable to process, her mind raced rapidly一not even giving her a moment to calm down.

She inhaled the air, hands relaxed from the fist. 'Well, here goes nothing.' And just like that, the lady sunk her head to the water.

If it wasn't for the current situation right now, she would've enjoyed the view of fishes swam passed her. Albeit her vision was blurred, that didn't stop her from searching further.

The pressure of the water flow was high, but not as high as the tension they were in. River started to pull her back to the original flow.

'Where is he?!'

Even if her vision was blurred in the water, she tried her best to make out the shapes and colours一trying to fit the colour of gray and green moss.

She didn't know if this was a blessing or a luck given to her. From the corner of her e/c orbs, laid the colours she described in her head.
