Michael hugged me as I stood in front of a mirror, with his arms around me and his face snuggled into my neck. His breath grazed my skin with a tingle of warmth. Seeing us be so close made my heartthrob, seeing him hold me the held me, seeing his face so close to my neck, it almost was like we were very close with each other.
"You look beautiful," Michael said
"That only because I'm in your clothes."
Michael blushed, "you'll be more-" He stopped himself from finishing his sentence. He stepped away from me. "I should go get Elizabeth before she decides that her bed is better than going outside." He got his jacket on and fixed his hair.
"Okay."

We stood outside my house, thinking of what to tell my mam. Sorry, it isn't what It looks like. I showered and enjoyed my time with Michael. Now I was going to spend time with my little brother and Michael. I took a few deep breaths."Michael, I'll be back in 5 minutes."
"We will be waiting." Michael held Elizabeth's hand.
I entered the house, strolling into the living room seeing Fritz still in his pyjamas eating breakfast on the couch. His school uniform was next to him, waiting for him to be done with eating.
"Hey, Fritz, wanna skip school and come with me on adventures," I asked him, crouching down to his height. "Do you want to go on adventures and have a lot of fun?"
"But we have school and Mammy will be so upset if we don't go. She is sad. I don't know why, but she's been crying all night."
"Fritz, you can go to school if you want or you can have a lot of fun, make a new friend and have a blast spending time with me. Your choice little Man." I spoke to him gently, giving him a simple choice. I wasn't going to force him to come along if he wanted to go to school.
"I want to spend time with you." He smiled, finishing his breakfast.
"You go get dressed, I'll check up on mam to make sure she is alright. You know, things that are difficult with dad in hospital and stuff. Why not, later on, we'll get her a present. You can help pick out Something cool to give to her."
"Yeah!" He cheered, buzzing with joy. He hopped down off the couch and hugged me briefly. "Thank you!" He giggled running off to his bedroom to get dressed for today.
I took his bowl to the kitchen with me, seeing my mother, cleaning up with her hair tied back in a grubby top and bottoms. Face cleaned with redness around her eyes.
"Mam? How are you feeling? Fritz told me you were crying? Did I upset you?" I asked, worried that she was worried so much that it caused her to cry. "I'm sorry. I got lost with time so I slept over at Roselyn's. She didn't want me walking home alone when it was late out of my safety of course." I lied, meaning Michael but she didn't need to know what.
"I'm fine, get dressed for school, and we will have a talk afterwards." She cleared her weak voice. She indeed has been crying, it was noticeable by how weak and soft voice, which hinted at heavy amounts of sadness. She didn't dare look at me.
"Why? Can you not tell me now?"
"After school, now get ready." She said, answering slowly.
"No, I'm not. I'm hanging out with Michael, his sister and bringing Fritz along." I told her so she knew where I will be, where Fritz will be and who we will be with. "We are going to the arcade." I didn't want her to worry.
"Go get dressed for school, your grades will suffer if you skip. You want your brother's grades to suffer as well?" My mother said, "Just go to school and behave. Just for a day."
