(Newt x Reader) // (Minho x Reader)
What if you would find yourself in the Glade?
What if all of the sudden two boys are head over heels for you?
Everyone expected another boy to arrive with the box, but to their surprise they were greeted by a girl...
Minho shook the thought off and walked further towards the Med-hut. Just before entering, he let his fingers run through his black hair to make sure that he was somewhat presentable after running the whole day. Carefully and quiet he entered the hut, nearly holding his breath. The orange rays of light from the setting sun shined through the gaps in the ceiling and a few particles flew through the air. An intoxicating smell of sage and lavender filled the air, yet the air wasn't thick or stuffy, it was rather fresh and pleasant to breathe.
As Minho entered you looked up from your bowl of soup. Newt had just brought it to you and was now on the way to eat dinner himself. At first he wanted to stay with you and skip dinner, but you insisted that he would also eat something. You even threatened that you would eat nothing if Newt skipped dinner, which was probably the argument which convinced him. Now seeing Minho standing in the doorway, sweat dripping from his forehead while his hair still remained perfectly styled, looking at you with his brown eyes, somehow left you dumbfounded. A strange feeling spreaded in your chest and your mouth went dry.
You haven't seen Minho since the incident with Newt. You thought you knew what you wanted and how you felt, but now seeing Minho left your feelings all over the place. There was guilt, uncertainty, but still this comforting feeling you'd feel when he was near you. What you didn't know: He felt the same. Seeing you sitting in the bed and eyeing him with your clear e/c eyes also was something which left his feelings all over the place. To him, you were the most perfect thing he'd ever seen. Just like an angel you seemed flawless.
He didn't even want to imagine Newt being with you the whole day. But seeing you well and in all your grace caused Minho to feel like weight was lifted from his shoulders. However, he didn't want to allow these feelings and thoughts. If he wouldn't have seen you sitting there, he would probably regret coming to the Med-hut at all. He pushed his thoughts aside and told himself that he didn't have any interest in you. He felt conflicted, the rational and emotional side of him each wanted different things, something he'd never experienced with such an impact.
"Hey" you finally broke the silence and Minho's eyes twitched as if you had just interrupted a train of thoughts.

"Hey" he greeted you and let his fingers run through his hair, a habit he can't seem to let go. "How was the maze today?" you asked him to start a conversation, "Well, big gray walls, more walls and oh!... walls" Minho answered and began to turn back to his typical attitude. You answered with an eye-roll and a small giggle "That's always your answer... you know you can sit down" you remarked to Minho, who stood rather lost in the middle of the room.
After Minho sat down, you put your bowl of soup on the bedside table and turned to him. "How's your back?" Minho asked and you shrugged your shoulders "It's alright I guess, I mean it doesn't hurt that much and after all it is my fault" you answered and Minho shook his head "You're so dumb Y/n" he said with a smirk and you playfully gasped "How dare you!". You slapped him on the shoulder, but before you could pull your arm back, he catched your hand and pulled you nearer to him.
"I think you owe me an apology now" Minho slightly laughed and you shook your head, also laughing "I don't think so" you said, now turning a little bit red caused by how near you two were. "I'm warning you Angel" Minho chuckled and you knew what was coming, "No Minho, I dare you to tickle me!" you tried to withdraw Minho, but also because of how weak you were you didn't stand a chance. With a smirk Minho began to tickle you and you laughed out loud, arching your back and trying to get away "Stop, Minho stop!" you repeatedly said.
"Only when I get my apology" Minho stated and under laughter you shook your head "Keep on dreaming, slinthead!" you exclaimed under your laughter. "What did you just call me?" he asked in a stern tone, which only caused you to laugh louder "Nothing! Nothing!" you assured him. "Yeah right" Minho said before he continued to tickle you. "Okay okay, I surrender, please stop" you begged him and Minho backed up a little bit "I didn't hear an apology" he stated and you laughed "I'm sorry" you apologized, but that wasn't enough for Minho "You're sorry? For what?"
"I'm sorry for hitting you" you added, but Minho only raised an eyebrow "...and for calling you a slinthead" you continued. "You shall be forgiven" Minho said with a playful undertone, "Thank you your highness" you answered with a giggle and sat back into your previous position, your legs crossed and your hands resting beside you. Minho also slided back in his chair and looked at you, "I'm hoping that didn't hurt your back" he confessed and looked at you with worried eyes. He hasn't even thought about you being wounded and now felt bad for risking your back getting worse.
"No, no everythings alright! Thank you, I haven't laughed that much all day" you assured and gave him a smile, "Are you sure?" he questioned and you nodded heavily, signaling that there is nothing to worry about "Never been this serious". "Well, then I'm happy I could cheer you up. I'm sorry for being absent all day, I really would stay with you, if I didn't need to run" he avouched and you felt your heart beating a little bit faster "It's fine, really. You're the Keeper of the runners and I can't expect for you to stay with me all day, because of my clumsiness"
"I still would..." Minho said under his breath, unhearable for you. "Have you eaten today?" you questioned, knowing that Minho tends to skip meals, especially while being in the maze. "I did, thanks to Hank" Minho explained, "You shouldn't need Hank to remind you about eating, Minho. You're out there the whole day, you need to eat" you insisted and Minho slightly chuckled "You don't need to worry about me" Minho assured you and you rolled your eyes "Wrong. You're the one I need to worry about the most in the whole Glade"
Minho smiled at that sentence "You're a hopeless case, Y/n". Somehow Minho felt flattered that you were worried about him, not in a weird way, he rather liked the thought that you were thinking about him and he would actually call it quite cute, that you were worrying about him. "No you are. I bet you haven't even eaten dinner today" you crossed your arms in front of your chest and the boy in front of you chuckled "I would be lying if I'd deny it", "Then promise me that you'll eat dinner today?" you asked and Minho sighed "I will."
But he didn't. In fact, he stayed with you the whole evening, talking. If Jeff wouldn't have come in to check on you, Minho would have probably even stayed the night, because both of you completely lost all sense of time. But after Minho and Jeff left you felt this particular uncertainty rising in your chest. Your head couldn't stop spinning around Newt and Minho. You felt bad that you thought about both of them at the same time, you wished for someone to give you an answer about your feelings. But if you had been honest with yourself, deep down, your heart already knew the answer.
