Liz: OMGOSH LILI! How r u?
Me: Good nd u?
Liz: I'm good too. I thought u forgot about us already
Me: I'll never forget u guys. U two are too special to forget. Lol
Liz: Ur so sweet
Me: no I just say the truth. Hey I was just wondering if you knew if Angie and Chris already moved to Cali
Liz: Yea they did :(
Me: Do u happen to know their number? I kinda promised Lucas I'd take my nephew to meet him.
Liz: that's nice of you. Angie's cell number is 555-3096
Me: thanks
Liz: no problem
We kept texting awhile, until she had to go do something else a dinner or something.
I looked at my cell phone screen.
"Barely three" I said to myself "Might as well call her now." I dialed Angie's number. It went straight to voicemail. I left her a message with my number telling her it was me and to call me back whenever she has time.
I texted Josh but he didn't text back which was weird. Then again he's been acting weird all week.
Finally I got a reply from Josh saying to meet him at the coffee shop by his house. That sounded good since they sell food there and I'm really hungry.
I drive down to the shop and see Josh sitting by himself at a table.
"Hi!" I say as I sit down.
"Hey." He says. I lean in for a kiss and he kisses me on the cheek. Ok that's weird.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
"Lili we have to talk." Oh no not again.
"You're moving again?"
"In a way"
"What do you mean?"
"Lili, I care about you a lot. You know that, right?"
"Yeess?" I say confused.
"Look I respect you and that's why I need to let you know I have found someone else. Before you say anything let me explain."
"It's ok Josh you don't have to it's simple you moved on its fine don't worry." I start to get up.
"Wait please listen to me." He stares at me with pleading eyes.
"Ok." I sit down.
"Please don't be mad at me. What I feel towards Kristy is what you feel towards Joey." How would he know what I feel towards Joey?
He probably noticed my confusion. "You said you love him in your sleep. If you want my opinion I think you should go talk to him and explain what you feel towards him."
I stayed quiet.
"I'm sorry." He says.
"Its fine. I think you should go talk to Kristy and tell her the way you feel." I smile at him. "She's a special girl to have you."
"Thanks" He smiles
"Invite me to the wedding though or else I won't forgive you." I laugh.
"I will" He laughs.
"Now go on go talk to her before someone steals her from you."
"Thanks Lili you're the best." He kisses my cheek and leaves.
