A Tiger's Story..

Start from the beginning

Throwing Atsushi against the tree he then grabbed chains and strapped them on Atsushi, trapping him against the tree.

"LET ME GO! LET ME OUT!" He cried.

"Stay here and think about what you've done." The man then left, leaving Atsushi alone in the coldness of the morning. Rubbing his arms and bringing his knees closer to him to try and stay warmer.

Atsushi just didn't understand. Why did these kind of things have to always happen to him? Why did the director only target him and him alone? Why did the other kids never bother to even help him?

Why was he...so alone?

"Excuse me?" Atsushi jumped at the sound of another voice. He looked up to see a woman smiling down at him. She glanced at the chains that were on him and her expression instantly changed.

"Who did this to you?! Tell me so I can find them!" Atsushi glanced at her chest, a badge shining on her right side..

"You're...cop?" He asked, his voice hoarse.

"Mhm, so if you tell me who did this I'll make sure they pay, I promise!"

Atsushi wanted to tell her..of course he wanted to...but..

"What good will it be to allow someone like you to live?"

"No one's gonna want you.."

"Just find a hole to crawl in and die!"

"No...it's okay.."

The woman was shocked by what he said, "B-But...are you sure? Just tell me-,"

"I'm fine." Atsushi looked up at the woman with a smile, "Thank you..for even coming near me...and talking to me.."

The woman hesitated but also didn't want to upset the boy. Reluctantly she nodded, and sat next to him. She had a bag, blue coat, her badge, and such...mysterious eyes...

"What's your name kid?"

"N-Nakajima Atsushi."

"Ah, Atsushi huh? Well," she glanced at him and patted him gently on the head, "Just call me (Y/N)." She said.

"(Y/N)-san.." he said.

(Y/N) laughed and looked up at the clouds, "You know...I actually read this story once when I was a little girl." Atsushi listened to her intently. He also liked reading too when he had the chance, going to the Orphanages library when he had no chores or wasn't being punished.

"What was...it called?" He asked, as he cleared his throat.

" Its called, 'Men to Create', a rather short but interesting book."

Atsushi thought the title was rather weird, but he was also now interested in the book. "What's it about?" Atsushi asked. (Y/N) placed a hand under her chin, trying to think of a good way to word it.

"Well...death and living basically. Not really a book for young kids...but," she glanced at Atsushi again, "It taught me something super important. Because of that book I became who I am today."

"R-Really? What did it teach you?"

"That justice isn't always right."

"H-Huh?"

(Y/N) laughed and patted him on the head, "That means that sometimes the right thing isn't always the right way..where bad things must happen sometimes for good things to happen."

"Oh." Was all Atsushi could say. (Y/N) must've known he still didn't understand and stood up.

"You'll get what I mean later on...so then," she then pulled the chains off Atsushi. All he could do was watch in shock as the chains fell off him.
