The Discovery

With Jimmy and Paul:

"Why are we walking into this forest," Jimmy asked. "We have private matters to discuss," Paul answered, "Like how you nearly gave us away to Ash." "I'm sorry," Jimmy muttered, "he said it so carelessly. I'm starting to think that he has just lost his emotions completely." "He hasn't," Paul said. Jimmy snorted, "that reassures me." "Look," Paul said showing Jimmy an image on his Pokedex. "This is from the international police. I managed to hack into their database after their base was attacked two hours ago." Jimmy stared at it. On it there was a picture of Giovanni's Team Rocket jet. "What," Jimmy said shocked, "that's in... this city," "we can't afford to go into action," Paul continued, "for the moment Giovanni's still our boss and we're still part of Team Rocket." They both heard leaves rustling and turned, readying Pokeballs. What they saw was a sixteen year old child standing there recording them on his phone. "Who are you," Paul asked, "Kody," the boy answered, "Kody Baker. And what I just heard can get you kicked from the tournament." "Why would you want to do that," Jimmy asked. "He humiliated me in front of my family and the girl I like," Kody replied pointing to Paul. "Doesn't ring a bell," Paul said casually. "I'll expose you," Kody yelled trying to sound tough, "Then you won't be able to participate in this tournament." "Hey look," Jimmy began, "my friend here is only trying to stay on top of the leaderboard." "What, so you can give the prize money to Team Rocket," Kody questioned. "No. See we're uhh, we're apart of the international police trying to bring down Team Rocket," Jimmy lied. "Prove it," Kody said. "We uhh, we don't have our badges here," Jimmy answered unsure. "So your lying. You are apart of Team Rocket," Kody yelled before he began to run away with his phone. "No, wait," Jimmy yelled. There was one shot that went off before the boys body hit the floor. Jimmy looked over to Paul, he was holding a pistol in his hand. Paul looked over at Jimmy's shocked face. "The end justifies the means," Paul muttered. "That doesn't make the means right," Jimmy yelled. "But it makes them necessary," Paul answered. Jimmy attacked Paul and there was nothing holding them back. Jimmy ran at Paul and began to assault him. All Paul could do was back away as Jimmy continued with his ruthless onslaught. That's where Silver and Gold found them. "WHOA, whoa," Silver yelled pulling Jimmy away from Paul with the help of Gold, "What's going on here." "He just killed someone," Jimmy accused. "Did you," Silver asked Paul. "Well yes but I had a reason," Paul answered. "Bullshit," Jimmy yelled. "Shut up Jimmy," Paul shot back. "Jimmy and I were discovered by someone who I had apparently battled and they had recorded our conversation which involved stuff about Team Rocket. He threatened to expose us to the authorities so when he started to run I shot him." "We could've worked around it. Convinced him to not tell anyone," Jimmy yelled at Paul. "When our entire mission is in jeopardy because a child spied on us because I beat him in a Pokemon battle. Think of how many other people we've killed just because Giovanni ordered us to. It. Doesn't. Matter," Paul spoke calmly. "That kid had a family," Jimmy muttered. "So did everybody we've ever killed," Paul exclaimed, "For the greater good," Paul put out a hand for Jimmy to take. "For the greater good."

4 Hours Later With Ash:

Celadon City, Kanto

Ash awoke because of the blinding lights. "Ow," Ash groaned, "Where am I." "You are back in Kanto, for matters we are about to discuss," a voice spoke with a heavy Russian accent. "And who are you exactly," Ash asked. "Agent Emily. Of the four horsemen of Team Rocket," she spoke.  "Celadon," Ash muttered under his breath. Ash looked up at who he was speaking to and he was greeted with an interesting site. The woman he was speaking to had straight light brown hair, olive eyes, pale white skin and looked his age. He looked over at two men sitting on the other side of the table. Playing uno. "Who are they," Ash asked pointing to the two men playing uno. One on left name is Joel. One on right name is Hudson. Joel had long black hair that was pulled into a man bun, he had a heavy tan with sky blue eyes. Meanwhile Hudson had short blonde hair that was brushed to one side, he had light brown eyes and had white skin but wasn't pale like Emily both looked a bit older than him and Emily. "Take seat," Emily said, "Giovanni will be here soon." 'Great,' Ash thought, not only was he being taken away from his mission but Giovanni was here. After his encounter with the international police he would not be on Giovanni's good side for a while. Sighing Ash got up from the floor and took a seat next to Emily resting his legs on the table. That's when Giovanni walked in. Next to him was someone Ash never thought he'd see again.Victoria. Giovanni's secretary from when Ash joined Team Rocket. "Joel, Hudson. Put away the uno cards we have matters to discuss," Giovanni spoke almost menacingly. They immediately placed all the cards together and put them away. "I have brought you together to introduce you to Ash. He has been a part of Team Rocket for 4 years and has never failed me. Until now. How is it that you fell for the Interpols obvious ploy. I had to throw my cover to come and rescue you. Now the Interpol is all over Lumiose City. And we had to come back to Kanto where we are very far away from Kalos." Giovanni continued, "tell me. Did you gain anything by going there. From your condition all I can tell is you got your ass kicked by Blake. Do you have anything to show for possibly nearly ruining our plan that was years into the making," Giovanni questioned. " I killed Looker," Ash muttered. All heads turned to him. "You killed him," Joel asked an Australian accent littering his words. "Shot him. One bullet. He hit the floor," Ash spoke slightly confused. "Blake and Looker have been pursuing us for a few years, so now that we know that one of them is dead is a good thing," Hudson said with an American accent. "One more thing. Why aren't Jimmy and Paul here," Ash asked. The question was directed at Giovanni. Giovanni didn't waste any time, "I've discovered that some of my agents found them conspiring against Team Rocket. They are Traitors."
