Chapter 46

"I'm picking you up," he said, without even giving me a simple glance.

"No need. Seungcheol will drop me off the school." I tried to remain calm as much as possible. It's Sanha who I'm talking to.

"Can he drop you off?" Being sarcastic was too obvious. I looked at Seungcheol and he just gave Sanha a blank expression.

Something's off.

"Of course he can. He has a car, Sanha." I tried to act as if like I'm not sensing anything. I saw how smirk immediately plastered on Sanha's face.

"But can he enter the school?" My forehead creased. I looked at Seungcheol and he's still blank. There's something going on!

Sanha was about to speak when Seungcheol walked up to me, "You can go with him. I also have some business to do," from a blank expression to a soft one. What's really happening, Cheollie?

Even though I have a choice to refuse and just stick with him, I just nod my head since it's Seungcheol who asked me. I'm not an idiot to not notice that something's going on between Sanha and Seungcheol.

"I'll just see you later," He said before bidding a goodbye to me. I waved my hand on him and he just waited for me to get into the elevator and he went inside the condo.

Sanha and I went to the parking lot and I opened the door for myself. "Do you think Seungcheol loves you?" Sanha asked as soon as I hopped inside the car.

I didn't answer his question. Because I know myself how much he loves me.

"Why can't you answer my question? Are you not sure of his feelings-"

"It's because I don't ask what I already know." I cut him off. I looked at him and he doesn't know what to respond to my response.

"You picked me up to go to school together right? Not to ask me nonsense questions." I added. Note the sarcasm because I'm really getting pissed. I know he's my brother, but he's being too much already.

He started up the engine and no one dared to say a word.

We reached school, and I quickly hopped out of his car. But even before I could even walk away, he suddenly spoke which made me stop. "Just make sure he loves you and he can fight for you. Same as you. Make sure you love him and you can fight for him. Because the consequences are just right in your face." he said before walking away and I was left there, speechless.

I was only stunned when my phone suddenly rang. A phone call from Seungkwan and a text message from Jihoon.

Since Seungkwan is calling, I responded to him first. "Where are you?" He asked. "Parking lot, why?" I asked back. This is the first time Seungkwan called me regarding my whereabouts.

"Okay, wait for me there. Don't move even an inch!" he threatened and I was about to yell at him when he hangs up.

That jerk.

Just like what Seungkwan told me to do, I stayed at the parking lot and waited for him to arrive. I don't know what he's up to but everyone is acting weird, damn it.
